Hi, I’m Captain Harvey Wall, owner of Salty Dawg Fishing Charters. With 25 years of guiding experience in North Carolina—and as a proud U.S. Army veteran—my goal is simple: keep you safe, help you catch the fish you’re after, and make your day unforgettable.

I’m based in Ocean Isle Beach, with easy access to Sunset Beach, Holden Beach, Calabash, and Little River, SC. Whether it’s your first charter or your hundredth, I’ll tailor the trip to your pace and style so you have a blast.

Trips I Offer:

— Inshore Fishing Charters (4 hours; morning or midday)
Fish calm backwaters (ICW, rivers, creeks, marshes) for Redfish, Speckled Trout, and Flounder. Ideal for steady action and relaxed scenery.

— Kids Fishing Charters (2 hours; 3–5 PM)
For kids ages 12 and under. We fish calm, protected water for easy-to-catch species to keep your kids engaged and having fun. Everyone fishes!

— Nearshore Fishing Charters (4 hours; morning or midday)
Run 1–10 miles off the beach to troll or bottom-fish for King Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel, Black Sea Bass, Cobia, and more.

— Shark Fishing Charters (4 hours; morning or midday)
Stay within 1–3 miles off the beach to target sharks like Hammerheads, Tiger Sharks, and Sharpnose Sharks (most 20–80+ lbs). Safe, thrilling fun for all ages.

What’s Included:
Quality rods/reels, tackle, bait (I primarily fish lures inshore and when trolling), and all required licenses—plus patient instruction.

Clear, Friendly Communication:
You’ll hear from me right after you book, and again a couple of days before your trip with meeting details and a quick plan based on current conditions. On the water, I’ll coach you step-by-step, point out local landmarks, share a few stories, and snap great photos of your day.
