Bowed Up Fishing Charters takes you around the shallow waters of Islamorada. If you’re a hardcore angler, you’re going to love these fishing trips. Why? It’s year-round, the hot spots have fish that put up a good fight, and the captain is skilled and knows the area well.
Capt. Tony will accommodate you on his 18’ Hell’s Bay skiff. This ‘Marquesa’ model boasts a large platform ideal for sight fishing and fishing with fly. The boat can take up to two anglers. This means you and your buddy will have the boat to yourselves, and Capt. Tony will be there to assist with fishing.
You need to know how to cast and present the fly to make the most out of your day on the water. The boat is powered by a 115 HP Yamaha, and comes equipped with quality gadgets to keep you safe and dry even when the water’s a bit choppy. There is a live well onboard, and you will have enough storage space. The boat is reliable and quiet enough to get you close to Bonefish.
These trips are truly rewarding. Spring to early summer boasts some of the nicest Tarpon fisheries in the world. They can grow super big and you’ll want to try and outwit them. Year-round, you’ll find consistent fishing here. Redfish, Snook, Bonefish, and Permit are on the chew regularly.
When you’re packing for the trip, you’ll want to bring sunscreen, a cap, sunglasses, and light clothes. Pack food and snacks, grab some drinks, and bring plenty of water to stay hydrated.
You will find all gear and tackle onboard. Capt. Tony has fly fishing equipment, but you’re encouraged to bring your own favorite set. The fishing license is included in the rates.
Capt. Tony has been fishing ever since he was a kid. He knows the area well, and has been working as a guide for the past decade. If you have a bigger party, but still want to fish with Capt. Tony, just scroll down and click on his name to see if there are some free spots on his bigger bay boat. Families just love it, and it’s great for a relaxed day on the water.
