Took my 4-year-old out along with my dad and brother for their first trip, and it couldn’t have gone better. The captain handled some strong winds like a pro and kept the ride smooth getting us to each spot. He stayed on the move when the bite slowed down and made sure we stayed on fish.
What stood out the most was how great he was with my son—patient, engaged, and made it a fun experience for him. My little one walked off the boat already asking when we’re going again.
Great trip all around. Looking forward to the next one.

When we booked this trip we had no idea the day we picked was a bad day to fish, but Cpt Dan NEVER stopped trying! He went to place after place after place to find us the fish! He went way over our time limit just to make sure we all caught some good fish! He was professional, he was fun to talk with and he was safe! His boat was very well kept. Can't wait until we can book another trip with him, would highly recommend!

My wife and I scheduled a 6 hour trip and had a ball! Dan has quality equipment, well maintained and ready to go. Fully prepared with bait when we arrived, we headed out. Day was rough, 30 mph winds but Dan positioned us on a known spot. After a few minutes, if no bite, we moved. Maybe 100 yards, a mile at times but we'd move and find fish! We kept pushing until we had our limit of reds and then moved to specs. We limited out on both and my wife had to release a 23.5" oversized spec! She was pumped. There will be no question as to who we call on our next trip to to the Texas Coast! Captain Dan is the Man!
