Capt. Stan runs a 19’ Arima powered by a 150 HP Mercury engine. This vessel boasts a maximum cruising speed of 35 knots. She comes equipped with Raymarine electronics and premium fishing tackle, including Shimano and Abu Garcia reels matched with Okuma rods. There’s room on board for up to four passengers and children are welcome.
Fishing the California Delta gives you access to the Sacramento, San Joaquin, and Mokelumne Rivers, where a variety of sport fish are biting. You can catch Striper and Sturgeon in these waters year-round, while Salmon makes an appearance in the fall.
No matter when or where you fish, Capt. Stan will ensure that you use the most effective technique. His insight and experience make him the best Striper and Sturgeon guide on the Delta, as well as the best Salmon guide on the Sacramento River. Whether you are trolling for Salmon and Striper or bottom fishing for Sturgeon, he will help you land a catch to remember.
Quetzal Adventures offers private and open boat charters. You are welcome to take home any fish you would like to eat and Capt. Stan will clean and bag them for you.
