Your captain is a friendly, personable, and experienced fishing captain who has a reputation for finding and catching fish. Whether you are a hard-core fisherman who wants to chase big game or a family looking for a great experience together, Captain Ryan is your man.
He welcomes you aboard his 25' Wellcraft center console powered by twin 115 HP Yamaha engines. The vessel was fully overhauled in 2016 so no need to worry about outdated amenities. Everything on the boat is up to date and top-notch – from marine electronics and safety gear to outriggers, a live bait tank, and an ice-box. The boat is also wheelchair accessible.
Hawaii Ocean Adventure Tours offers customizable fishing charters for groups of 1 to 6 people. It keeps its prices low so that no matter whether you are 2 or 6 people, you get the entire boat for about what you would pay for a shared charter.
You'll get a chance at reeling in prestigious game pelagics such as Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Marlin, Tuna, and much more.
You can also combine fishing with some snorkeling and the needed gear will be included in the price, along with all the tackle, bait, and lures. Fishing licenses and catch cleaning are also courtesy of the charter.

Saw a dolphin and some whales before catching us some Mahi Mahi! We got an average size one and got lucky with a monster. Was a great time for all if us!! Men bring your wife with! If she likes being on the water she'll love being out on the boat. Our 4 hour trip was definitely not long enough! Great job Steve!

I could not have asked for a better crew and fishing charter. Very personable, polite, accommodating and knowledgeable. Captain Ryan was always teaching us or showing us something along the way. To top it all off we put some fish of a lifetime in the boat and on ice! Can’t wait to book again

Ryan taught us a lot about the sea, the fish, and how to catch them using the equipment on the boat. He really made you feel like you were apart of his crew! We had great conversation and got a few fish in the boat. We even stopped to round up some sharks at the surface. Highly recommend, we will be back!

When we met our captain he already had the boat prepped and we were off. Right away he had the perfect bait spot where it was no stop fish on. The little boy in our group was able to reel in and have a blast. Then we had a great time hand fishing where we caught plenty of Yellow Fin. He brought us back to the harbor where he cleaned the fish for us. This by far was the best experience any mainlander could ask for

Enjoying the boat ride around trolling. We even got to see some whales as well! The 16 year old and the baby got sea sick but they still had a great time! Captain Kelley was a great guide and a good sport with our unruly 4 year old bag of sass lol

We also hooked a marlin which didn’t even know to hope for. My husband loves to fish so our trip also turned into a bit of a fishing lesson. Casey was so nice and we enjoyed our conversation while out on the water. I’ll recommend these guys to absolutely everyone

Half Day Trip (PM) on March 9, 2024 • 5 adultsCaptain Casey worked his tail off to find fish. His deck hand was out sick, sea was rough, weather wasn't ideal but he persevered. We WILL be back. We made as new friend and are looking forward to seeing Capt. Casey again on our next trip to Hawaii.

didn’t hook ip but had a nice time on the water. We dis get to see some whales so that was a plus. covered a lot of water. Alex tries his best to get us on fish.

Captain and crew were nice. Trolled all day 7am-11am with no luck. It happens but i have yet to be skunked till now. This was right after the storm where the town flooded. The water was really murky until you get a few miles out. Saw lots of whales, some dolphins and a turtle.
