The crew of the Salty Dog Seafishing takes you fishing around the waters out of Jomtien, Thailand. You will have a chance to experience a variety of fishing trips, and go around wrecks, do jigging, try deep sea fishing, or head out up to 30 miles to get some of the top predators of these waters, including Tuna, Billfish, Sharks, and more.

The crew is experienced and have a lot of knowledge about how local waters work. They have fishing packages to suit any angler’s palate - from absolute beginners to avid fishermen looking for a trophy catch.

You will be fishing from a 24’ Nippon angler powered by a 200 HP Yamaha. She can take up to six persons and is equipped with GPS and a fishfinder, has a toilet, an ice box, has life jackets, but note that kids can’t fit into these. Onboard, you will also find Penn tackle, and rods and reels for different types of fishing you will be trying on your trips.

Fishing packages aboard Salty Dog are both private and shared packages, and you can book an offshore tour, bottom fishing trip, jigging, family tours, and more. You can also be fishing during the night and head out to some distant fisheries.

The crew will supply all the fishing gear you need as well as the license. You need to take care of the food and should also bring sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat. There will be soft drinks available onboard.

    This tour includes fishing, snorkeling and island hopping. We board at 8:45 from the corner of Soi 11, from where we go out to check out our favorite spots. At 11:45, we sail to an island for your lunch (not included) where you can have your catch cleaned & cooked for an extra fee. From 13-13.30 we go snorkeling and at 14.15 we make a tour around an island. At 14.45 fishing again for a different type of fish, at 16.15 we sail back to the boarding place. Capacity 1-6 persons, 3 speedboats available.

    At 17:00 we start from boarding place and are sailing to the area where Squids are feeding that night. Most nights, you can see the green lights from shore where these professional Squid fishers are. We are back in the morning, around 5-6 clock. The catch will be shared between you, the guide, the staff and the captain. Bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, food, and drinks. The fishing gear is supplied.

    We start at 17:00 from the boarding place. We will be going around 30-40 miles out if waves and wind allow us. If squid is available for catching, we will try for the first 2 hours for live-bait. We are starting to head back at around 5:15 am and at 6:30 am we are back at the boarding place. We will be targeting Shark, Marlin and Sailfish, King Mackerel, Cobia, Snapper, Barracuda, Yellowtail Queens, Red Snappers, and Stingray. The gear is supplied.

    We start at the boarding place at 8:45 and go out for up to 30 miles to our favorite spots - as much wind and waves allow us to get to the bigger fish. We will be doing bottom fishing in the deep sea and our staff will help you with setting up your gear and bait. We will be targeting King Mackerel, Cobia, Snapper, Barracuda, Yellowtail Queens, Red Snappers, Stingray. At 15:30 we are heading back to the boarding place. Expected arrival is around 16:45. You will get the gear, but should bring food.

At 16:45 we will be back at the boarding place. The gear is supplied. Bring food, sunscreen, and a camera.

    On this tour, you will start at 8.45 at the boarding place. It then takes about 2 hours to reach the crew's favorite spot, where you will be trolling for about 4 hours and then get back around 16.45. You will target King Mackerel, Bigeye Barracuda, Sailfish, Marlin, Shark, and other species. In case the crew needs to cancel the tour because of strong wind and waves, they will take fish for baitfish and change the tour to a bottom fishing trip around the island so you can stay out of the wind and waves.
