5th Day Adventures operates around the Cape Coral area, offering inshore excursions targeting everyone’s favorite shallow-water species. Captain Tim has been fishing the area his whole life. He welcomes anglers of any age or experience level to enjoy his local waters
The winding maze of flats, mangroves, sandbars and rocky passes provides a variety of habitats which big fish pack into year-round. Looking to fill your coolers and battle some monsters along the way? You’ve come to the right place!
You will be fishing aboard Captain Tim’s 22’ Panga Marine center console. This adaptable vessel can get you into shallow water to chase tailing fish and is also stable in the choppy waters off Sanibel Island. She was built in 2007 and has room aboard for up to five guests.
During your trip, you can fish for a wide range of species, from Redfish and Trout to Snook and Goliath Grouper - the ultimate shallow-water brutes. You will have a choice of light and heavy tackle to target them and will be able to spin, jig, pop, troll, and bottom fish your way to some great catches.
At the end of your trip, all your fish will be cleaned and filleted, ready to take home and enjoy. All trips come with plenty of bait and fishing licenses are covered by the boat. All you need to bring are snacks, drinks (preferably no alcohol) and plenty of energy for the day ahead.
Captain Tim can meet you at a range of locations to start your trip, including Bokeelia, St. James, Matlacha, Sanibel, Captiva, Boca Grande, and Punta Rassa.
