Get Hooked Bait & Tackle runs a variety of awesome fishing trips on the John’s and Butler Chain Lakes. Head out on the water with the guys who know them best, fishing the most productive spots according to the dozens of anglers and guides who stop by the shop on every day.
Spend the day fishing aboard a brand new, sturdy, and reliable 21’ Skeeter bass boat. This boat offers one of the most comfortable rides in the area, with room for 3 anglers maximum, but 2 is recommended for comfort. She’s powered by a 225 HP Yamaha engine, which enables a smooth ride. There are also front and back resting seats for long trips. She comes equipped with all the latest electronics, including a Minn Kota trolling motor with spot lock to get you locked onto the spot where the bite is best.
The local lakes are famous for their awesome Crappie and Largemouth Bass fishing. On a good day, you could be on the business end of many multi fish count. The most effective way to attract them is with live bait. Bait isn’t included in the trip price but you can buy it from the shop at a discounted rate of around $19 a dozen with a minimum order of 3 dozen for the discounted rate.
With two, four, six, eight, and ten-hour trip options as well as the choice of mornings or afternoons, you can always find a trip to suit your schedule. Get Hooked Bait & Tackle operates a catch and release policy on all their trips, releasing the fish to make sure future generations can enjoy them.
All trips come with tackle and lures and anything else you need can be bought from the bait shop. Ice and cold beverages may be added for an additional cost. So jump aboard and get ready to catch a ton of great fish!
