Crabtree Fishing Charters welcomes you on a fishing trip around the productive waters of Tampa Bay. Year-round, anglers come here to get their tasty tablefare and get it home, or break the old records. You could be just starting or a seasoned fisherman, but either way, Capt. Andrew Crabtree will help make your time on the water unforgettable.
You can hope to get sheer variety of fish here. Whether it’s Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, Snook, Tarpon, Flounder, Jack Crevalle, or Mangrove Snapper, Crabtree Fishing Charters will put you on the right track.
You will be fishing in state waters, and the captain will first brief you on your target, safety procedures. Then you will head out to find some fish. Most of the times, the bait will already be prepared and stored in a live well. The trip will then see you fishing around mangrove shorelines, flats, and grassy areas looking for fish. After the trip, if you want to keep your catch, Capt. Andrew will clean it and bag it for you to take it home.
Capt. Andrew runs a 22’ Skeeter bay boat. She is powered by a 250 HP Yamaha engine. The boat can take up to four anglers. She is equipped with GPS, a fishfinder, a trolling motor and stores the safety gear, as well as a range of Penn rods and reels. There is an ice box onboard to keep your catch fresh and cold.
Kids are most welcome to join the chase. You should bring your own food and beverages, but please note that hard liquor and drugs are not allowed. You will also want to bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen (not in spray), and a camera to make some memories of your trip. Gratuities are much appreciated. Book your spot on time and come get that fish!
