Exuma Bonefishing Guide is run and operated by Stevie, a local angler. He specializes in showing his clients and friends what the area is most famous for. Join him for a day out and explore the island’s paradise.
Stevie will pick you up at your hotel early in the morning. His boat is on the south side of the island, only a short 10-minute drive from Georgetown. Depending on the tides and the weather, you will be wading or fishing from a boat.
Exuma Bonefishing Guide will take you to the local flats, where you will be able to enjoy the beauty of the crystal-clear waters and sugar-sand beaches. If the tides are high, Stevie will take you exploring the shoreline aboard a 17’ Super Skilf flats boat. It can easily go to very shallow waters and can comfortably take up to 2 anglers. The boat is powered by a 90 HP Mercury engine.
If the tides are low, you will be wading hard bottom flats. Your fishing technique will vary from spinning and jigging to fly fishing. Stevie will provide you with all the necessary gear and tackle, along with lures and fly fishing equipment.
You will need to bring your own snacks and drinks with you, along with some sunscreen and a camera to capture the moments. Please note, that Bonefish are only ‘catch and release.’
