Everglades Guide Services is a fishing charter owned and operated by Captain Paul Ray, whose goal is to make sure his guests have an unforgettable fishing experience. Experienced anglers and novice fishermen are both welcome to see what makes fishing in the Everglades so great.

The boat you will be on is a 17’ Beavertail skiff that’s powered by a 60 HP Suzuki engine and has enough space for up to two anglers to fish comfortably. Apart from all the safety and navigation gear needed to ensure a safe and productive day on the water, you’ll find a cooler filled with cool Gatorade and water.

The Everglades is a haven for both fly fishermen and those who stick with conventional light tackle. The inshore waters and backcountry flats are some of the best places to fish for Redfish and Snook in this part of Florida. Come March and April, these become great waters for Tarpon fishing, and Captain Paul is happy to help you hook your first Silver King.

The price of any given trip includes rods, reels, and terminal tackle, as well as all the necessary fishing licenses. The trips are strictly catch and release because Captain Paul strongly believes in doing his part to keep the fishery in good health. Make sure to bring a pair of polarized sunglasses and sunscreen so you can relax and enjoy yourself to the fullest.

    Nothing beats a full day of fishing if you want to see everything the Everglades has to offer. You will be fishing for Redfish and Snook in the inshore waters and flats. During the early summer months, Tarpon fishing is also an option. Depending on your preferences, you can choose between fly fishing and regular light tackle gear. Rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price.
