Flats Fish’r Charters provides guided inshore fishing trips to all anglers, from old hands to those just starting out. With more than 30 years of experience under his belt, Captain Blake knows how to conduct a satisfying fishing trip for those who fish with him.

Blake’s boat is a 17 footer, outfitted with navigational electronics such as GPS and Fishfinder, with enough room to take 3 anglers fishing with him. Although he specializes in fly and conventional fishing, particularly sight casting for Snook, Captain Blake also offers a variety of other water-based activities, such as wildlife tours, lunch cruises, and shelling excursions.

As for fishing, Captain Blake tackles the backcountry waters of the Island of Sanibel, Captiva, Fort Myers and Pine Island Sound. A body of water this large is best explored on paced longer trips. His common targets include game fish that Southwest Florida is famous for, such as Snook, Redfish, Sea Trout, the Silver King (Tarpon), and many others that make fishing in these waters a year-round event.

Captain Blake provides tackle for both the conventional spin fishing, as well as fly fishing. Live bait and lures are included in the price, as is cleaning and bagging your catch following the fishing trip. Cold bottled water is also included, and guests are free to bring their own drinks. Fishing licenses are taken care of by the Captain for all his passengers. The only things you absolutely need to bring are sunglasses and a smile.

Captain Blake got hooked on fishing with his dad as a young boy, and never looked back. With more than 30 years of experience behind him, he's become a real expert in the craft and is always willing to pass on the knowledge he's learned. Light tackle fishing in shallow waters is his specialty and favorite pastime, be it regular spinning or fly fishing.
