Anglers who have fished with Bay Native Fishing say that each visit to sunny Florida should include a trip or two with Captain Michael Rogal. A third generation guide on Tampa Bay, he really knows his trade. Though young, Capt. Mike has a personality, knowledge, and fishing wisdom that go beyond his years.
The captain will move his 24’ bay boat, keeping you and your party busy catching fish until your arms are sore. This vessel comes powered by a 300 HP Mercury 4-stroke engine and has enough room for up to 6 anglers. Its GPS and fishfinder will build up a clear image of where the fish are hiding, while the wireless trolling motor will ensure a quiet ride. There is also an icebox on board to keep your catch fresh during the day.
Bay Native Fishing will take you fishing for the finest species that the inshore and nearshore waters have to offer. The list of your potential catches includes Redfish, Snook, Seatrout, Tarpon, Mangrove Snapper, and Spanish Mackerel, as well a King MAckerel, Cobia, Gag Grouper, Jack crevalle, Permit, and other species.
On your day out, you will be able to try your hand at various fishing techniques, including light tackle fishing, fly fishing, spinning, popping, jigging, and other tried-and-true methods. All the necessary gear and tackle will be available on board, along with bait, lures, snacks, and drinks. Happy fishing!
