Surrender At Sunrise – Flounder Gigging Trips
Surrender At Sunrise is your key to something different, unique, and exciting on the waters of Aransas Pass, Texas. Be a real hunter at least for a night. Try Flounder gigging with the pros!
Think of the quiet and serene bays, calm waters, and the winds that lay low. Just imagine getting out later in the evening to get your weekly dinners sorted out. Try it once, and you will surely want to come back time and time again.
Your trip will begin by staling the elusive Flounder. They are nocturnal fish and feed in the shallows along the reefs and banks. Once the camouflaged fish are caught, they become a delicious dinner - baked, fried, grilled, or broiled.
Capt. Dave will welcome you aboard and then the fun will begin. He will quietly drift the boat along an oyster reef or a sandy area - anywhere the waters are shallow and clear. The boat is equipped with a special light that ill shine down on the bottom.
The boat itself is a 22’ Long Beach Aluminum boat. Built in 2016, she is a perfect vessel for Flounder gigging. The boat comes powered by a 150 HP Mercury Pro XS engine. There is plenty of space for up to 4 anglers. All aboard!
The trip comes with all the necessary equipment for Flounder gigging. You should bring a bug spray and a cooler with whatever drinks you want.
