Against The Grain Charters is all about making sure you have a great experience on the water. Captain Charlie Rogers is a South Florida native, and he has been into fishing ever since he was a kid. His knowledge of the local waters and skill in many types of fishing techniques is what keeps his customers on the fish.
The boat you’ll be fishing on is a 28’ WhiteWater center console that’s powered by a pair of 200 HP Yamaha engines. It’s outfitted with all the necessary safety and navigation gear needed for a safe and productive journey, and other amenities such as outriggers and a live well for bait are sure to come in handy. There’s plenty of room on the boat for up to six anglers, making it perfect for bringing some friends along for the ride.
Depending on what you want to do, you can go fishing offshore for Mahi Mahi, Sailfish, Wahoo, Tuna and much more. Alternatively, stay near the reef where you will target those tasty bottom fish such as Grouper, Red Snapper, Hogfish, and others. If you want to do some tournament-style fishing for Mahi Mahi to get a feel of that authentic experience, Captain Charlie can arrange that too.
The price of a trip includes rods, reels, and terminal tackle, as well as complimentary cleaning of the catch after the trip. Feel free to bring along some drinks and snacks, and it’s very much recommended you have a pair of sunglasses and a hat with you, so you can be comfortable during the whole trip.
