Rather B Fishing – Powerboat Siletz/Tillamook

If you want to sample some of the finest Salmon and Steelhead fishing around Tillamook, fishing with Joe Terleski of Rather B Fishing is the thing to do.

With a long season that runs almost year-round, impressive catches, and an experienced guide who’s fished here for decades, you can’t go wrong. Just one look at the photos, and you’ll see why so many anglers book Joe’s fishing trips repeatedly.

Your vessel for the day is a 21’ Umpqua Marine power boat that is powered by a 150 HP Yamaha engine. With a maximum capacity of four anglers, the boat is a perfect vessel for intimate fishing with your friends and family. Fitted with GPS and a fishfinder, and carrying safety gear, as well as range of fishing equipment, the boat is a reliable choice for both hardcore and novice anglers.

You will get all the fishing gear onboard and you can try spinning for Steelhead, trolling for Salmon, and even do some fly fishing. You will get fresh bait onboard too.

As for the trip necessities, please remember to purchase a fishing license as well as tags. You’ll want to pack rain gear, boots, warm clothes in layers, and food and drinks. Of course, remember to bring a camera and get some nice photos of your fish. If you want to take fish back home, it might be a good idea to bring a cooler along and leave in the car.

Your guide can meet you at various locations and departure times are also flexible. Please note that smoking is not allowed. Joe has another vessel, a drift boat, and he might use it from time to time, depending on the season and what might be the best to make your trip productive. Joe also runs trips around Portland rivers, so if you want to be fishing there, scroll down and click on his name to learn more.

Book your spot on time, get your fishing buddies, and come out for a fine day of fishing!
