My Chance Charters
My Chance Charters has been fishing the waters out of Destin for over 30 years and they are excited to share their vast experience with you. The crew is very friendly and happy to assist anglers in their saltwater fishing adventure. Destin is called the “world’s luckiest fishing village” and a crew that has decades of experience in this area will give you every chance to get your dream fish.
The vessel is a stout 30’ Black Watch saltwater fisher, powered by twin 225 HP Cummins engines. The boat is equipped with powerful engines so you can take full advantage of the great fishing locale that is Destin. It also has an observation tower, helping you spot that Mahi Mahi and Cobia. Comforts are not neglected though, as the boat has a full head toilet.
The experienced captain Michael King knows many fishing techniques and is very happy to help you with them; whether assisting or teaching you, you are in capable hands. This charter offers you a great variety of different fish you can catch and ways you can use to catch them. All equipment needed is provided by the charter. Penn reels are a staple, as well as special custom-built rods, everything in place so you can really get the most out of the water.
The minimum age for children is 8, with the charter providing all required vests. People new to fishing are very welcome as the captain is an excellent teacher eager to get new anglers hooked on the bite in the blue water. Live bait is fished with the customer if the weather is nice, and the price of the purchased bait is included, if weather conditions don’t allow fishing for it. There is parking offered in the Marina, and additional parking available across the street at a public parking lot.
