Los Barriles Sportfishing
If you have always wanted to explore the Sea of Cortez with one of the luckiest captains in the area, give Los Barriles Sportfishing a try. Many anglers from all over the world travel every year just to fish with Captain Carlos Castro – that’s how good he is!
Captain Carlos will work hard to ensure you have a great day on the water. He will take you to the hottest fishing holes around and will put his talent to work for you. You will be able to try your hand at light and heavy tackle fishing, jigging, bottom fishing, trolling, and popping. Fly fishing is also possible if you bring your “lucky rods” with you!
Fishing with Los Barriles is more than just catching Snappers and Wahoo. It’s about the thrill of breaking a record or setting a new one, coming back to shore with your very own “catch of the day” and honing your angling skills. You will be able to get your hands on Sailfish, Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Roosterfish, and Marlin while also connecting to these beautiful waters.
“La Joya” – the Jewel – will be your boat for the day. She is a 26’ Super Panga fishing machine, fresh on the water in 2018. La Joya is fully outfitted to battle the monsters of the East Cape. She comes powered by a 140 HP Suzuki outboard engine and rigged with modern electronics and professional accessories, including Okuma rods and reels. The deck of La Joya is covered with SeaDek panneling during June to make her even more comfortable.
Grab your snacks, and drinks with you and hop onboard for an adventure of a lifetime!
