The waters off the coast of Savannah offer anglers many a challenge – inshore action, offshore extravaganza, and everything in between! Coastal GA Fishing will put you on the bite, whether the waters are 3 of 300’ deep.
Captain Jay Cranford invites you to join on board his 22’ Pathfinder. She can comfortably handle 4 anglers and the captain. The design is a center console, allowing you to stalk the shallows and hit the bluewater fishery as well. You’ll have a live bait well at your disposal on board, so your bait fish will stay fresh and appetizing long after it’s been caught. A full suite of navigational and fishfinding electronics will help you find your prey quickly and safely.
There’s a lot to pick and choose from in the coastal waters of Georgia. Inshore action consists of the evergreen all-stars: Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, and Flounder. Nearshore waters are chock-full of Black Seabass, Sheepshead, Black Seabass, Barracuda, and other species. Offshore fishing has the always-popular Red Snapper as the main target, along with Amberjack, Kingfish, Spanish Mackerel, and other pelagic predators.
The captain will provide you with all the required equipment, except fly rods – you’ll have to bring your own. Kids aged 6 and above are welcome on board; parents with younger children should contact the captain in advance.
Captain Jay also offers trips on his 18’ boat – click on his profile picture to find it. Captain departs from several marinas in the area. Contact the Captain to see which one would work best for you.
Whether you just want to spice up your visit to the coast or you’re chasing the next personal best, a trip with Coastal GA Fishing is the right move!
