The vessel you’ll be fishing from is a 21’ Low Tide flats boat, with the capacity for 3 anglers and a captain. The boat has been recently renovated in 2018, meaning you get a state-of-the-art craft for your use. She is powered by a sturdy 250 HP Mercury engine, allowing you to navigate the flats quickly and easily. The boat is equipped with a full suite of modern electronics, so you can find the fish efficiently and get your fishing on, as soon as possible.
Florida has a fantastic offering of inshore fish to go after. Snook, Redfish, Sheepshead, Groupers, and others. The champion here is the prized Tarpon, who is also on the target list for Captain Mark Chard. The techniques used on this trip are tried and tested, light and heavy tackle, along with exciting bowfishing. All the required equipment is provided by the charter operators. The equipment is high-quality Shimano gear, ensuring you can focus on fishing 100%.
Children are more than welcome on this charter, as Captain Mark is excellent at teaching the basics to little anglers. Children under the age of 5 are not allowed on this charter. Customers are allowed to keep their catch, though it depends on the seasonality and the fish caught. Live bait is provided free of charge for use. Clients are also advised to bring sunscreen and polarized sunglasses, as the sun can get quite hot above the emerald waters of Florida.
