Our group of 3 had a great experience fishing with Captain Torey and Saltyhook Fishing. We caught more fish than I could count at each of several locations that he took us to. And, we caught enough fish to enjoy a fish fry at the place we were staying. Had a great time and I would highly recommend his boat to anyone looking to have fun fishing in South West Florida.

Must’ve put me and my parents onto 20-30 small snook. Few keeper reds. Catfish and something else I can’t remember. Great experience def recommend! Even filleted our fish up for us! Literally booked the night before and he made it work!

Captain Torey was exceptional! We have been on a few charter fishing trips in the past, but Captain Torey has been, by far, the best one yet. He quickly reached out to us with details when we made the reservation. He had everything needed in order to have a great day on the water. When we weren't catching fish in one spot, he would quickly take us to another. We had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend Captain Torey. When we return to Ft. Was a great and beautiful morning on the water with Captain Torey, he was very knowledgeable about the fish and waters we were on and always had an answer to my questions! I’d 100% book another trip with him as he is a great people person, was extremely helpful, and most importantly put us on fish! Thank you Captain Torey!!

He got us on the bite several times. Unfortunately, I feel like my own inexperience with the live bait cost me a few big bites, but still had a good time with the amount of fish we pulled up… the captain was a very nice guy, had a good time with my 5 year old. My son lost interest in the fishing shortly after pulling up some jack. But the captain had him helping with pulling out the bait fish which kept the little guy entertained the whole time.

I highly recommend Capt. Torey and Saltyhook Charters. Easy booking and complete and timely communication led up to a great day on the water. I originally booked for myself and my two sons. When my dad said he'd be in the area, it was very easy to add a person to the party. Every good fishing charter captain should know what spots to try based on weather, time of year, and in the case of Fort Myers, the tide...and Capt. Torey is no different. Not all spots worked out (that's why it's called fishing, not catching), but we caught our fair share and had a great time. Capt. Torey worked hard to make sure our lines were wet and had fresh bait at all times. Overall a great trip that made us all look forward to the next one.

Our fishing trip with Captain Torey Long was excellent. All 5 members of our group caught fish. Captain Torey made sure we had enough fish to feed all 5 of us. He baited lines, removed caught fish from fishing lines, positioned the boat in hot spots that he knew would provide fish to be caught. He provided a great fishing experience for us. I highly recommend using his charter for a great in-shore fishing experience.

We had a fantastic day on the water with Captain Torey! His kind, friendly, helpful, and fun approach to our trip made my two teenage sons and me comfortable on his boat and excited to fish. Torey shared a wealth of knowledge And made sure he did all he could to get us some great fish! We couldn’t have had a better day on the water catching some awesome Jacks, Redfish, Trout, and Snook. I cannot say enough about how great this trip was and what a great Captain Torey is. Captain Torey was absolutely the best helping my sons get on fish, catching fish, and teaching them all about the species, how to fish for them, and just his overall hospitality with everyone on the boat making you feel like you have known him for years. At the end of the trip, it felt more like a family fishing trip then a charter. We will use Torey any time we are back in the area!
