My 2 son-in-laws and 2 grandsons both had a great afternoon with Bob on his boat, catching more fish than we knew what to do with. The grandkids were exuberant and couldn’t stop looking in the ice chest full of fish. We would do it again in a flash.

Captain Bob was great and put us on the walleye both days, had a total of 53 keepers for 5 people in 2 days of fishing, great time with a great captain!!

I was impressed from the moment we stepped on the dock. Captain Bob is a truly knowledgeable fisherman and boat operator. The boat is clean, comfortable, and in top repair. Being retired Navy I was nervous about that, but he turned out to be more than squared away. It was an evening trip with me, my brother, and my nephew for his birthday. There were times when we were all reeling in fish at the same time! We quickly caught our limit in Walleye, then started catching catfish on lures! The gear provided and communication on best method to use it was superb. Captain Bob was such a pleasant and laid-back guy, I had to ask if he was Canadian! It turns out he grew up in the area, which explains why he knows the water and fish so well. You better book quick because I'm booking again and recommending this Guide to everyone I know. Outstanding!

After 2 days of terrible storms and flooding in Port Clinton, the lake was very churned up and murky. I got a text from the Captain in the morning saying “fishing might be a bit tough today”. I told him we are still looking forward to it and we will just be optimistic. My family and I met up with Bob at the boat at 2pm. He seemed very nice and ready for a full day of fishing. We got out in the lake, marked a bunch of fish and got set up for drifting. In the first 2 hours all we had to show for our effort was a sheepshead. Bob decided the water was still too murky and wanted to switch things up. We were going to troll. We were marking schools of fish but they probably just weren’t seeing the bait. Things sure changed after he broke out the planer boards and spinners. He showed the boys what he was doing, taught them how to recognize a bite and we got to it. From 4:30pm to 8:30 we must have hooked into about 15 walleye. Lost a couple through no fault of the Captain, caught 4 small ones we threw back and walked away with 7 nice sized keepers. A 25 incher, 2 24’s, and a 23 were the biggest. We had a great time and everyone caught at least 1 walleye. I would recommend Captain Bob and the Reel Deal boat to everyone looking to catch fish.

We didnt know what to expect but let me tell you what we experianced! Left at 6 am with Captain Bob and he had his awsome boat ready to go! Fully stocked with all the best gear and electronics had us out with 8 trolling lines set up By 7 am. There were 3 of us and we limited out 18 walleye by 2 pm. He did everything to make our catches easy and smooth. He lets you help and be part of the experiance which makes it better and great to learn! His prices are right, his boat is great, and he is an above average guy. We are already planing a trip for perch this August and make these yearly trips out with Reel Deal Charters. If you want to Rip some lips get with captain Bob!

Had a great morning on the water with Captain Bob. We were fishing within 20 minutes of leaving the dock and started catching walleye right away. The action didn't stop until we reached our limit by 9:30. Boat is immaculate and rods and reels as nice as any I have used on a charter. He got our five guys involved in the trolling set up and that made the catching even more rewarding. Thanks for a great trip Captain Bob!

It was our first time fishing for walleye and we met our limit! Captain Bob was very knowledgeable and knew exactly where to go and showed us what to do. Very pleased and will book again!

Captain Bob was a great host and a great captain. He worked hard and got us a great catch. Also just a fun guy to have as part of the crew. Overall experience was a ton of fun.
