Canek del Pacífico – Bonita 

We booked the 13hr. We met the crew prior and were handed food and water for our adventure. Left on time, making our way out there the wind turned and the swells started rising, so is and most boats turned around and stayed close to shore. Caught a few Jack Crevalles, Bonitas, and Spanish Mackerel. They were helpful with the set up but also let you help and do things if you wanted. Was a long day but a good day overall.

My second trip with captain scooby and chicken. After a great 1st trip we decided to head offshore to try for a marlin. Although we had hits from marlin we couldn't hook up properly although seeing them hit the baits was pretty spectacular. I may have missed out on a marlin but the fishing was still awesome we found an area with lots of mahi mahi. I think the final tally was 12 with a few missed hits and lost fish. Again we had ceviche and sashimi on the way back which was delicious.

Scoop and chicken did an awesome job it was a great experience and the ceviche was amazing 👍👍

I have been out on lots of boats out of PV and this crew was one of the best I have delt with. The captain Scooby put us on the fish. Finding a GIANT pod of dolphins and tuna. We chased them around watching hundreds of dolphins jumping all around us. We hooked up with a few tuna landing one before we decided to go back after Marlin. We hooked into one good size Striped Marlin which I was able to fight for a good amount of time before jumping and breaking the line. We hooked up with a few other good fish but could not close the deal. Oh and the fresh tuna ceveiche was probably the best I have had down here.

They worked so hard at getting us on fish. Kept changing up lures and live bait. Had an amazing day. They were so good to us can’t say enough positive about them. Thanks Joe and Danice.

Captain Gael and his brother Michael did a great job getting us on fish. We had our first fish about five minutes into our trip. We ended up with 4 Mahi Mahi and 15 Bonita along with a few needle fish and some skip jacks. It was an awesome experience!

Communication was excellent. The boat was in excellent shape and the gear in good condition. Maxe and Ramone are excellent guides and talkative. We caught a huge needlefish, a jack, a mahi, and several bonitas. We saw no less than 10 separate whales, many were breaching and one swam under the boat! Beautiful day! We kept the mahi and a Bonita for dinner for the remainder of our vacation and Ramone used the needlefish to make ceviche while on board- which was sooo good! Highly recommend a trip with either of these guys. Will hopefully be back someday. Happy New Year!

Caught plenty of fish and Pablo and nacho were great. Wished we would have had more help with getting fish and transportation back to the hotel or at least better packaging of fish

This full day trip is worth it. You can target fish when they are feeding. Some fish feed in the am and some in the afternoon so it wise to do a full day. The crew are amazing. And will do there best to find fish for you. I will be booking again next time out.

Had a great time, boat was nice plenty of room with lots of drinks and snacks. Captain spoke perfect English and made sure we were comfortable. Highly recommend!
