Get The Net Fishing Charters 

We were coming up 5 1/2 hours for the weekend specifically so that I could surprise my boyfriend with a salmon trip for his birthday. It looked like the weather wasn’t going to work out on Sunday, so the captain changed things around in order to get us on the boat on Saturday instead. Making sure that my boyfriend could have a good birthday. He absolutely made our whole weekend. We had pretty good bites and landed two huge fish, despite it being the end of the season. Lou was kind, funny and took the time to get to know us. He was everything you want in a captain! We cannot wait to come back next year. Thank you captain!!!!

Thanks Captain Lou for a great morning on the lake! First- this is a small well maintained marina with a clean and easily accessible bathroom and it was easy to find the boat. We left early in the morning and the lake was beautiful. Captain Lou was really good with two 14-year-old boys on their first charter fishing trip. He’s full of lots of great fishing information and enthusiasm! The boys were very interested in the equipment and he explained how it all worked and made sure we all knew the safety measures we needed to know. We spent a beautiful morning on the lake learning all sorts of things about fishing! When one of the boys got a little queasy, he didn’t hesitate to take us into calmer water so everybody could still enjoy themselves. As a mom, I very much appreciated that! The boys grilled the steelheaded trout they caught for a delicious dinner and were very happy to eat all of it! . This is a great charter for anyone new to fishing or with kids who are curious and interested. Captain Lou was very welcoming, patient and kind. He was flexible and adjusted the trip time for us so we could still get out and fish despite thunderstorms when we originally planned to go. He kept an eye on the weather and we were all safely in our cars 15 minutes before any real rain started. The boys learned a lot and had a good time which was ultimately our goal. They talked the whole way home about trying it again sometime. We will look forward to that next year! Thanks again for so much fun! We highly recommend this experience for families!

I went on a full day charter out of Kendall New York. Lou was very knowledgeable And very enjoyable to fish with. I felt Like I had known Lou my whole life by The end of the trip. Lou worked very hard To make the day a total success. I ended up catching my limit of king salmon and lake trout. I have probably been on 25 fishing charters in my life, This by far was the best one. I had the Fishing trip of a lifetime with Lou! I would 100 percent recommend Lou and Get the net fishing charters.

Great experience with Lou and his boat. I did a lot of research for charters in the area and chose Lou for his great reviews and kid friendly/family approach as well as his attention and priority to weather and good conditions. Lou was easy to communicate with and had options for us during our vacation should weather not permit on the first chosen day. He was great with our 7 year old daughter throughout the trip. Lou worked hard the entire time of the charter to get us as many salmon possible! He truly cared and made an effort to ensure we had the best trip. Would 100% go back to Lou next time we are in the area and would recommend him highly.

Had an awesome trip to end our vacation. We started early with great weather and were able to enjoy a sunny day on Lake Ontario. Captain Lou Borelli and First Mate Chuck were competent in every way needed. They were both friendly and knowledgeable. My son and I had never fished New York or Lake Ontario before and they provided their experience and guidance in all things fishing throughout the day. They not only described the fishing techniques but explained the unique aspects of fishing in the area. They showed and explained the various setups for the tackle they used and why they were good in certain situations. During the day we caught Lake Trout and Coho Salmon which neither of us had ever targeted or caught before. If you are ever in this area and have a chance to fish here, I would highly recommend looking them up. We would definitely book with them again.

Had a great experience with Captain Lou fishing for salmon. Perfect day perfect weather and Lou had us on fish caught kings and an Atlantic salmon!! Captain is very knowledgeable and shared his knowledge has the perfect boat and equipment for a great day on the lake.

What a great experience. I have been on plenty of charters and hands-down captain Lou is the best at the business. Not only was he friendly, he knows how to get on the fish and stay on them. It’s obvious he has a passion for the sport and Truly enjoyed taking people out. This boat is immaculate and obvious that he takes care of his equipment. Thanks for a great day.

My gandson & son-in-law decided to take me fishing on Father's Day. However, the day looked as though it might be a cold/rainy/windy or all of the above day. So at the last minute I called Captain Lou to see if he would take us out at the last minute. Amazingly, he was free in the afternoon and so we sealed the deal. Trip on! As it turned out the weather was warm, the sky slightly over cast and the wind was blowing about 2-3 knots; just about perfect! We met Captain Lou at the dock and loaded our gear and shoved off to try our luck. oh, I forgot to mention that all of us are rank beginners when it comes to fishing. On the way out to the selected spot, Lou got us all up to speed on the the safety gear and the boat in general. After this short familiarization, Lou set to work getting the trawling gear set and he took particular care to keep my 11-year old grandson involved by letting him choose the lures and telling him why he was doing all of the things needed to get ready to fish. Even before the boat was fully setup we got our firs strike which managed to get off the hook as we were not quite ready to start fishing. In the next hour and a half we landed four beautiful King salmon (see photos). My grandson fought his fish all the way to the transom by himself and Lou netted the fish and got it on board. After fishing Lou cleaned the fish and had my grandson help. On the way in Lou let the little guy drive the boat (a big added bonus for an 11-year old boy). To say we had a good time is a big understatement. Follow Up - A couple of days later, I called my daughter to say hello and my grandson answered. He immediately told me that he had the rest of the Summer's fishing all figured out. He had invited four of his friends and their father's out for a day of fishing and all he had left to do was call Captain Lou and get things setup. I was forced to bring him down to earth a little by telling him that the maximum number that can be on the boat is six in including the captain. Always the problem solver, I was told that this was OK, we'd just go on more trips! Oh, to be young again.
