Three D Fishing 

We had an absolutely fantastic 5‑hour fishing trip with Captain Norm. From the moment we stepped aboard, his knowledge of Lake Tahoe, its history, and its unique fishing patterns made the entire experience feel both educational and exciting. Norm clearly knows these waters inside and out, and it showed — we ended up catching seven beautiful rainbow trout, each one adding to the thrill of the day. Beyond the fishing itself, what made the trip truly special was the time spent swapping stories. Norm is not just a great captain; he’s a great storyteller. We spent hours laughing and sharing tales about scuba diving adventures, and it felt like we were out on the lake with an old friend rather than someone we had just met. If you’re looking for a guide who’s skilled, patient, fun, and genuinely passionate about Lake Tahoe, Captain Norm is the one you want. This trip was the perfect blend of learning, catching fish, and enjoying great company. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic fishing experience! Norm was a great captian and made this fishing trip a lifelong memory! We’re not well versed in fishhing, but wanted to take our kids ages 12, 11, amd 8. Norm was patient, fun, knowledgeable, and gave our family a great experience! We would do this again, and highly recommend this trip to anyone!

Captain Norm was GREAT! He called me a few days before our trip to let me know that the forecast called for heavy winds on the day of our scheduled trip. He said that we were unlikely to catch any fish due to the windy conditions and suggested we might want to consider cancelling our appointment. Instead of cancelling, we rescheduled for the following day for which the winds were scheduled to die down. Sure enough, the next day was perfect and we were able to catch 5 lake trout while taking in all the beauty of Lake Tahoe. Norm was great with my 2 kids and we will definitely book again the next time we are in Tahoe. FISH ON!!!!

Capt Norm was top notch. Communication, punctuality, knowledge and personality! We will 100% return for another trip with Capt Norm. To top it off, the park ranger said we were the only boat to catch any fish today! Capt Norm is the only Capt you should charter with! We had a beautiful day of fishing, caught fish (whew) and enjoyed the scenary. Captain Norm is great company on the lake and a very knowledgeable Captain. We learned a lot from him while we fished different techniques throughout the day. So much fun!

Captain Norm is attentive, knowledgable, kind, and will do everything in his power to make your fishing trip awesome. He cleaned our catch, and had coffee and snacks for the morning ready. I took my family, who had never fished before, and he was really supportive and patient teaching them how to fight the fish and troll the lures. He also fishes some of the most beautiful scenaries in the lake!

I wanted to get in a little fishing trip before my son had to go back to school. Captain Norm was on time and organized. Once out on the water, he knew what the fish were hitting and knew the hot spots. My son's still learning different styles of fishing and Captain Norm had endless patience. And we seemed to be doing better than other boats at drying off some fish! Cleaning the fish was included and for the last two days we've been eating a little heaven! I recommend Three D fishing highly.

This is our second fishing trip in Lake Tahoe. And we like this one better than the previous one. The reason is simple: Capitan Norm. Norm is a people person. He is friendly and experienced. He knows the lake well. We ran into a very windy situation, but he quickly took us to a calmer water where we continuously caught fishes. He prepared water, donuts, and Hors d'oeuvres. I got to learn how to put the baits on and how to reel in the fish. Capitan Norm even let me handle the wheel for a while. We had a blast and happily returned with 20 beautiful fishes before noon.
