Twilight Fishing Charters 

Group of 12 had an awesome time on the water! Lots of action and lots of fish in the boat!! Kids had a blast and ended the day catching a big ray and a shark! We will see yall next year!

Caught fish all day long. The captain put us on the fish all day and the crew was awesome and was super helpful. plan on coming back!

Had rough seas which made it difficult for those without sea legs. First both Captain and Mate did a good job of going through safety and boat items. Once out, seas were rough but skipper found a good path to minimize impact. After doing some bait fishing, which was fun in itself, we found a few good spots to get red snapper. Ian the first mate did a great job organizing the tackle, rods and bait among the 4-5 people fishing at the same time. He kept everyone safely engaged in the rough seas. Among us we caught 10 good sized Red Snapper. Back on shore, First Mate did a great job getting everything cleaned up and ready to take away for an evening fish meal. It was a great time.

Today is Tuesday, May 23 in Destin, Florida on board the Hound Dog fishing charter with Capt. Taylor & 1st mate - Matt. We just had an AWESOME experience during 6 a.m. until Noon trip. It’s called fishing, but our group of four did a whole lot of “CATCHING” (We caught more than 50 fish & brought home 29 keepers - Triggerfish & snapper) They were delicious. Matt did an wonderful job of showing us how to fish using their tackle, & kept all lines baited & ready to go. None of us ever had to touch what we caught, and he did a great job fileting our keepers, too.Thanks Matt. Thanks Capt. Taylor for getting us there & back safely & for the helpful directions from start to finish. The Hound Dog is a beautiful boat, very clean with all the amenities, including access to a bathroom & AC cabin. We had an incredible time. The crew did a fantastic job setting up rigs for varying ages (12 years old up to 55 years old). We all caught so many fish and everyone had a great time. The first mate, Ian, was great with taking the fish off hooks for everyone and keeping us loaded up with fresh bait. Captian Taylor was great about moving us to different spots to keep the fish biting! Worth every penny!!

Best of the 4-5 charters we have done in gulf area. Ian, first mate, was great with our group, keeping us baited and helping us get lots of fish in. Patient with the whole group even when we snagged ourselves up. Captain Taylor moved us around a bunch to make sure we got over the right spots. If we stopped and our first bites weren’t right, we moved along quickly which resulted in a great haul of good sized fish.

Tyler and Matt were a good duo. Threw them for a loop and wanted to not focus on Red Snapper even though they are in season and most want to go out for. Caught 8 different species throughout the day and even a decent wahoo. Captain Taylor made audibles and kept us busy fishing. Matt kept us bated and taught throughout the day. Solid day on the water and will return again to the Hound Dog Charters team.

Taylor and Ian were awesome, couldn't have had a better time. Taylor would put us on a hot spot every time fish would move and Ian couldn't have worked harder. With 4 of us fishing and as soon as a line was in the water, there was a fish being reeled in and Ian would have us baited and back to fishing. I've been going on charter fishing trips for almost 20 years and out of all of them, they were the best. Wonderful experience with Captain Waterfield and First Mate Matt. Cpt and crew put us on the Red Snapper right out of the gate and we had our legal limit in less that 15 minutes. Crew was attentive, coached us through the fishing experience and provided plenty of knowledge and encouragement. Even gave us the time and opportunity to do some shark fishing and had us hooking our very first 6' shark for the fishing experience of our lifetimes! Again, thank you to the Captain and Crew of the Hound Dog! We will be back!
