FinnCo Charters tilbyder en fantastisk fiskeoplevelse ved Catalina Island! Vælg mellem at fiske på forsiden af øen for en generelt roligere oplevelse, eller prøv turene på bagsiden for et mere eventyrligt fiskeri.
Fisk fra en 30’ Pro-Line walkaround, der bringer dig til øen på lidt over en time, afhængigt af forholdene. Et komplet elektronikpakke er om bord, herunder et kortplotter, ekkolod (sonar) og radar til når forholdene ikke er ideelle. Bluetooth-underholdningssystemet tilsluttes nemt, så du kan lytte til musik på vandet.
Ladet med to spande levende agnfisk er der masser af agn til hele dagen. Nogle ture vil have frosne sardiner til chum og/eller frosne blæksprutter til bunddyr. Fiskeoprensning er typisk ikke inkluderet på grund af antallet af fangede fisk og den tid, det tager fra fiskeriet. Der er også en stor køleboks med is til at tage vare på fangsten.
Kaptajn Finn tilbyder to Catalina-ture, fordelt mellem forsiden og bagsiden af øen. Hvis du er usikker på at tage den 30 sømil lange offshore-tur, så kontakt kaptajnen, og han hjælper dig med at vælge den rette dag og viser dig, hvor du finder havvejrudsigten for din fiskeridag.
Båden har grej til rådighed, og alt grejet er udstyret med flettet line og fluorocarbon. Størstedelen af hjulene er level-wind baitcastere, som er perfekte til fly-lining efter de eftertragtede pelagiske arter. Tag dine egne stænger med eller prøv besætningens (begrænset til to personlige stænger pr. fisker, medmindre det er forhåndsgodkendt). De har plads til 16 stænger om bord.
Sodavand og vand er inkluderet i prisen. Du må også medbringe dine egne drikkevarer, men de er begrænset til én medium blød køleboks pr. fisker (kun dåser og plastik). Glem ikke at købe dit fiskekort.

9 Timer – Catalina Front Side den August 29, 2026 • 4 voksneWe had a great day with Captain Alan Finn on the front side of Catalina. He's friendly and very knowledgeable. He was quick to respond to several questions leading up to the trip. I really appreciated that we never stayed in one spot for too long. If there was no bite, he suggested we move on to the next stop. He wanted to move around to find the fish and that we did. We go one yellowtail (not many yellows being caught in Catalina in the prior 2 weeks), 6 bonito, many calicos and an epic battle with a 100 lbs giant sea bass (AKA giant black sea bass, released). It took about 30 minutes for us to finally bring the fish to the surface using 30 lb test on my friends 30+ year Penn Jigmaster 500 with the drag cinched down. Captain Finn provided us with top of the line gear such as Diawa Saltiga reels and Seeker rods, but you know how fisherman can be. We want to catch fish on our own gear. I highly recommend you try fishing Catalina with Captain Finn. He'll show you a good time.

If you are looking for a Captain who really cares about the experience they give you, then there is no other person than Captain A! We stayed in constant communication, he asked important questions like "is anyone a lefty? Any dietary restrictions?" He really tries to customize your trip! He & his wife (who we did not meet) supplied the most amazing subs for Lunch and KFC for a light dinner, with PLENTY of snacks, waters and soda to support our long day! The gear was new, and in amazing condition and we are not disappointed! While the current wasn't in our favor for yellowfin, we DID catch 4 legal sized lobster! This was a trip that I surprised my husband with for our 21st Wedding anniversary and knowing that we will eat fresh lobster for our Anniversary dinner that WE caught is nothing short of amazing! Ken was a top-notch Deckhand who was doing his best to get us on fish, and really helped us in a big way with the lobstering and all around great conversation! I ended up getting extremely seasick when my dramamine wore off, but Captain A had a bed in his bow that helped me to sleep it off! (make sure to use the Dorado pillow! haha!!) They let me rest, while the men took over and continued their excursion! This team will make you feel like family-We will definitely book with them again when the water gets warmer (and I promise to bring more Dramamine! Thanks so much for making our day (and night) special! Cheers!

Catalina Back Side den August 15, 2020 • 4 voksneCaptain Alan and his mate Alex were simply awesome. They came prepared with every thing we needed for our 9-hour trip to the backside Catalina and answered all of my questions leading up to our trip in a prompt manner. These guys know these waters like the back of their hands. They supplied fun conversation while they kept us on fish throughout the day. This trip was as a 64th birthday gift to my father and these guys made it special when they put him on a 30-pound yellowtail, a total bucket list fish and a memorable fight on light tackle. I couldn’t be more pleased with my overall experience. I recommend this trip to parties of any experience level looking for a day full of bent rods and great people.
