Din tur starter på en 21' Ranger Z521 basbåd, der kan rumme 3 lystfiskere. Båden kører på en kraftfuld 250 HK Yamaha SHO-motor, der kan nå en maksimal fart på 65 knob, og vil hurtigt bringe dig til de ønskede spots. For sikker og effektiv navigation bruger båden moderne Lowrance HDS fiskeekkolod og GPS-systemer samt en VHF-radio. For at kunne nærme sig fisken mere lydløst er båden udstyret med en trådløs trollingmotor.
Du og din guide vil bruge let grej til at målrette jer mod Småmundet ørredaborre ved hjælp af bundfiskeri, spinning og jigfiskeri. Børn er velkomne på turen, alkohol er ikke tilladt, og nogle af fiskene skal genudsættes i henhold til lokale regler.
Guide Norvel sørger for alt grej, agn, snacks og drikkevarer, hvilket betyder, at det eneste du skal medbringe er dit fisketegn.

Weather conditions were not optimal, but we caught a reasonable number of spirited smallmouth bass. Most importantly, Butch explained why we fished with specific techniques at specific locations so that we might have an opportunity to try again on our own. Butch is quite personable and we enjoyed talking with him about a variety of topics in addition to fishing.

I do a lot of charters and the captain taught me an my nephew a lot about fishing in Traverse Bay! Great trip for younger anglers as well! Lots of action and spotting the fish in the clear waters will keep them occupied and attentive. I highly recommend this trip!!! I will be doing it again!

Great fully equipped bass boat with all the bells and whistles. Also had a good time chatting with Butch and the sightseeing from the lake was almost worth the price of the trip by itself

It was a slow day, as sometimes happens, but Butch stayed positive and trialed different presentations and locations to get us hooked up. We caught several really nice fish and had a fun day on the water.

4 Timers Tur den June 15, 2022 • 2 voksneBoat was clean and well equiped. Our tackle was in top condition, especially the line and leaders. We learned how to spot the smallmouth beds. Even though fishing was slow at first, we ended up with 6 nice ones (all released.) Biggest was 20 inches and just under 5 lbs (female with eggs.) Captain Butch was very patient with my wife and taught her to retrieve the lure with finesse. Mid June is prime time for big Lake Michigan smallies.

He had Emily and I one nice smallmouth right away. Emily caught her first smallmouth on this charter. Each of us had a great day on the water and would highly recommend Captain Butch. He was enjoyable to talk to about fishing and the Traverse city area in general. Would highly recommend!
