Irish Eyes Sportfishing Charters 

Captain Mike made sure everyone on board had a great time. We had a range of fishers on this family outing, from an English licensed sailing captain to a lady doctor to a 5-year old adventurer. Captain Mike found the walleye and schooled us in the best technique to get them to our cooler. And finally, he hooked us up with a skilled fish cleaner to make sure we had plenty of delicious filets to take home. Thank you, Captain Mike!

We celebrated my son's 16th birthday with a fishing trip and had a great time! He caught a 25 inch Freshwater Drum and 27 inch Walleye. We ended up with 12 Walleye's that we decided to keep and threw several others back into the lake. Captain Michael Long was very personable and helpful!

We had a great time out on the Lake and it was the first time for us and our boys! We all had a blast and almost caught our limit. Captain Micheal was professional, courteous and easy going. He knew right where the fish would be and he made everything about the experience easy and fun. I would definitely recommend him and go out on the water with him again.

Our group of 6 included 3 father/son teams. We limited out on walleye, and even pulled in a 29” fish Ohio monster. Capt. Mike was great, and worked hard to make sure everything ran smoothly. He even scheduled to have our batch cleaned and bagged with a local colleague. Highly recommended charter experience.

Our family of admittedly novice fishermen had a wonderfully memorable excursion with Capt. Mike and his 1st mate Brian, who made us feel comfortable throughout the voyage, and were exceedingly friendly, witty and engaging. Despite being early in the season, the Irish Eyes Captain and crew showed their knowledge and professionalism by taking us right to where the fish were biting, walking us through the process of setting up the rigs, and ensuring that we each had multiple opportunities to enjoy the thrill of bringing in sizable Lake Erie walleye.

Capt Mike and 1st Mate Brian were awesome! Boat was set up and ready. Capt Mike got us out to the site. We were bring in fish right away. There was a very stead flow of fish. Gotta love the Fishsticks! Good conversations with crew. Capt Mike and 1st Mate Brian were glad to answer any questions or explain anything about fishing on Lake Erie.
