Outcast Fishing Charters OBX 

We had such an awesome experience! Captain Lance was great from the very beginning. He was quick to respond to all of my questions and even opened up an additional time slot for us after the one we were looking at sold out just minutes before we were ready to book. We really appreciated him going out of his way to make it work for us! Captain Mike took us out and was fantastic! We started out fishing in the ocean and caught 16 fish total, including Spanish mackerel and bluefish! 🎣 After that, Captain Mike suggested heading into the sound to try for red drum. We had plenty of hits but unfortunately weren’t lucky enough to land one. My husband DID manage to catch a manta ray, though, which was such a cool and unexpected experience! Captain Mike worked hard the entire trip to keep us on the fish and made sure we had a great time. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly hospitable. We are so grateful for all of his hard work and for making this such a memorable experience for our family. We would absolutely recommend Captain Lance and Captain Mike and would definitely book with them again!

I booked a trip for Cobia w/Capt. Lance Luke. Even though it wasn't likely to find them. He did all he could to put us in the right area. Lots of Local knowledge. Great Capt. You can tell hes a fishing nut too. He made sure we took some fish home. To fill are Refrigerators. Will Definitely booking him in the future.

Captain Lance is easy-going, knowledgeable, and helpful. The day was cold and windy, and we didnt catch a lot, but he did everything he could to give us the opportunity. Hit lots of spots in the sound, made us feel comfortable and welcome, and gave us all the local insight. Helped us filet our fish and had it cooked right there at the marina for lunch. We had a great time and if we are in the area when the weather is better, we know who we will look up for some fishing!

Even though the season was winding down for Red Drum and Sheepshead, Capt. Lance Luke with Outcast Charters OBX knew exactly where to find them. We caught 14 good sized Sheepshead and three Red Drum, one a citation fighter. Capt. Lance knew not only how and why the fish would be in the location he chose, but also how to help us reel them in. We are senior anglers, but that didn't stop us from taking in a haul on a day when other boats on the Sound came back lighter. The 23-foot body was in exceptional condition and the gear was top-of-the-line. Capt. Lance was easy to talk to and happy to share all his knowledge! We highly recommend Outcast Charters OBX and will fish with Capt. Lance again!

Fishing with Outcast on OBX Sound was an unforgettable experience, especially with my grandson. Captain Lance's expertise and enthusiasm made the trip exceptional. We tried for some trout but then targeted sheepshead, and they didn't disappoint! The boat was well-equipped, the scenery stunning, and the bonding time with my grandson priceless. The Cap'n let us know the marina could clean and cook our catch if we wanted. I'm glad we listened to that suggestion. The sheepshead were delicious cooked up fresh. Highly recommend Outcast for anyone looking to make lasting memories on the water!

Our captain was just plain awesome. We only went half a day, I wish we could have gone longer. It was a different type of fishing than any of us were used to, but Lance taught us exactly what to do. We managed to limit out on Speckled trout in 4 hours including catching the bait. That should tell you how much action there was. I would recommend this trip to anyone looking to experience sound fishing. Thanks again Captain! I hope us PA boys made ya proud.

Captain Lance was the only Captain to find fish this day. No one else that was out fishing was catching anything. Captain Lance sure knows what he is doing when it comes to finding the fish and bringing them in. He took my boys out and taught them what all he knows! His fellow Captains talked highly of him and everyone on the water knows him. It was a great first fishing charter and we had red drum for dinner that night! Thank you Captain Lance for showing the boys such a great time on the water, they said it was awesome! You were truly a great find and we hope to come back for another great charter with you to rip some lips!!

Captain Lance was amazing on our fishing trip! We had our 8 year old son with us and he made sure everyone was safe and had a great time. He even kept an eye on the little guy so momma could fish as well!! We will be choosing Outcast again during our next visit, no doubt about it. We had our fished cleaned and cooked at the Marina afterwards, it was as fresh as you can get!! Definitely recommended.

We had a great 1/2 day trip on Outcast. Captain Lance was super and made sure we had a great day on the water. He put us on Red Drum within 15 minutes of leaving the dock. Then we moved on to surface casting for hard fighting Bluefish. Lance was informative, patient and provided just the right amount of information and instruction based on our different experience levels. And he’s a great guy! Highly recommend!

We booked a half day with Captain Lance during our first visit to the Outer Banks. Although we didn't catch any fish, it was the most beautiful and relaxing day on the water. Temp was 70 ish and sunny. We rotated up to the Fly Bridge to get a better look for fish, learn about the area (tide, lighthouses, hunting cabins on islands), and just seeing the inshore area. Lance is knowledgeable about the area and worked in tandem with other fishing boat Captains to make it the best experience for all the boaters out there. Highly recommend Captain Lance and his great boat!
