Gå om bord på den 23' Majek, en bugtsejlbådsmodel fra 2021. Den kan tage grupper på op til 4 gæster pr. tur. Båden er drevet af en enkelt Suzuki-motor med 300 hk og kan nå tophastigheder på 35 knob. Du vil komme fra et hotspot til et andet på ingen tid. For at øge dine chancer for et stort fangst er fiskefindingsudstyr tilgængeligt.
Dette charter dækker området South Padre Island Bugt og Lower Laguna Madre, som inkluderer kystnære fiskerier samt lokale sletter. Fisken bider året rundt, selvom nogle arter kan være mere tilgængelige end andre afhængigt af sæsonerne. Du kan gå efter Rød trommefisk, Plettet trommefisk og lækker Stortandede hvarrer. Hvad angår fisketeknikker, kan du bruge let grej, bundfiskeri, drivfiskeri og Flynder Gigging.

5 Timers Tur (Eftermiddag) den January 15, 2022Cannot explain how great this trip was. Booked with Captain Jorge and despite all challenges with 40mph winds and cold front pushing through. All credit goes to Captain Jorge to have the knowledge to take us out in those conditions. He knew what and where to go for a smooth ride and great experience. We did not expect much due to conditions, but Captain put us on some BIG Redfish. Water looked like Chocolate Milk and he still made it happen. Mrs. Ballyhoo bait was the ticket. The Oils, and the Bombs was the game changer. To fish in those conditions, and still be one shy of 4 limits was insane. Book with Sunset Charters you won't regret it!

We had a guide cancel on us in the morning due to high winds, which is understanding, we were from Houston so we didn’t want to let our trip be doomed from winds. We found sunset charters that same day, and george with his experience, advised to do a afternoon into evening fish. We met him at the dock at 3pm and from there on, it was fish on!!! Thanks to George our trip wasn’t ruined, a lot of the other guides didn’t even offer a afternoon trip, they just didn’t want to take us or didn’t know forecast. George made it happen!! When your on his boat make sure you ask for “the juice”. An attractant that his wife makes was amazing. Thank you george!! JUICE IT UP!!!

In this boat it's different you feel Caption George wants you to have a great time and teach you something that will help you be better at fishing. He doesn't give up until the fish bite and always has reel ready to fish. I walked in with nothing in my hands and walked out with monster RED fillet ready to cook! The Caption is blessed with a gift on putting you on some fish.

We wanted our son to catch some nice fish and Captain Jorge made that happen. Keaton, our son,, caught a 27 1/2 and a 26 inch red. Captain Jorge kept us fishing an extra hour after the normal stopping time with no extra charge. I highly recommend booking a trip with Sunset Charters and Captain Jorge Erosa.

Heldagstur den April 8, 2022I booked a fishing trip with Capt Jorge Erosa and I truly enjoyed it. We caught a few keeper reds which he filleted and bagged for us. While out on the water he took us to a few different fishing spots and taught the names of the areas and hope to identify them. He also taught us some new fishing techniques to help us catch more fish. I was very impressed and will definitely book again with him.

We didn’t have a keeper in the boat when our time was up and Captain Jorge stayed out until we caught 4 very nice fish. While he was filleting our fish he also answered my questions concerning cooking them. I would use him again if given the chance!

I would 100 percent recommend for anyone wanting to learn some bay fishing or for the more experienced fisherman ready for some wade fishing!! I will be back with my man Jorge again soon! 5 Hour Trip (AM) den October 25, 2021Sunset charters provided me with a great experience out on a boat. They are actually the first to get me on Red drums keepers. Will forever remember my expericr with them. Captain Jorge provided great information as far as how to cast out and how to reel it in. Jorge was also able to fillet my catch. Over all a great experience with them and looking forward to my next trip with them soon.

I was referred to Captain Jorge by the owner of a house we rented for a week in Port Isabel Texas. We did a charter for Redfish the day before and he asked how we did. I told him we had a few bites but did not boat a fish. I understand that you cannot make fish bite as I am also a charter captain in the upper peninsula of Michigan. He was shocked and said I have a friend captain that had good success the day before. I called Jorge and as luck would have it he had the afternoon free. We met at 1:00 p.m. and five of us caught 11 slot redfish several undersize and I boated a bonus red that measured 29 1/2 in and weighed 11 and a half pounds. The captain was very personable knowledgeable patient and worked very hard to put us on fish. When we return we will definitely be fishing with him again.
