We had a great trip my wife an 16 year old son. We caught a handful of Rooster fish and my son caught a Cubera on a popper and Michael the mate hooked a gave the rod to my son on probably 35 pd Cubera. These guys were very conciseness aboutt releasing them the right way and they get an A plus in my book. They work very well as a team. Their equipment is good I would have liked a lighter rod for the popper now that I’m in my 50’s. Their equipment most important thing is the worked their asses off

Fished 2 days with Daniel. On day 1 we made a long run pretty much to Hannibal bank and were in the tuna all day. Landed 4 yellowfin between 20 -40#. Very fun throwing to boiling leaping fish. Also caught a nice snapper. Day 2 was tough as weather prevented us from getting as far offshore and we fished islands and rocks. A few small Bonita and a beautiful Blue Jack were the days catch. Great effort by the captain and mate as we jogged, trolled, used live and cut bait as well as plugs. Also, the captain provided excellent food and beverages for the trip. Pulled pork sandwiches, ceviche, fresh fruit, jumbo shrimp, grilled tuna. All were outstanding.

The first way my expectations were exceeded was being just my wife and I on the boat, we not only had Captain Daniel and a mate, but also a second mate. This was awesome with having plenty of room and with all the intensity and chaos that comes about when you find tuna. The second way was absolutely the food! It was like having fine restaurant quality food in the middle of a fishing day. I’m the type that when it comes to fishing, I just need a handful of something quickly so it doesn’t interfere with fishing time. Daniel served us tuna that was extraordinary. Then even though I didn’t think I wanted anything more to eat, I agreed to try the ceviche and it was spectacular. I ended up eating past full because it was so good. Then, after a fantastic day of fishing he served our fresh caught tuna as sashimi with avocado that I can still taste thinking about it. The food was unreal and again, I’m a give me a sandwich or an energy bar and call it good kind of fisherman. Another way my expectations were exceeded is that this was the first charter fishing trip I’ve had that I didn’t feel like we were “on the clock”. Daniel never made us feel like we’re in a hurry and time is running out and we’re following a specific time schedule to get back. He actually asked us if we were ready to be done or if we wanted to keep fishing after our time was technically up. The great thing was we both caught yellowfin tuna that were great battles, my wife caught a whitetip shark and actually lost another, and I caught my most wanted saltwater fish, a big Rooster, so we were satisfied and exhausted and ready to call it a wonderful day. Thank you Daniel, looking forward to coming back and fishing with you again!

Couldn't recommend Cattan Sports Fishing enough! We took a two day charter- one day offshore and one day inshore. Captain Daniel and Captain Michael did an incredible job getting us on a ton of fish. I've been on over 15 charters in my life- and this one was most impressive by far! Island swim, fresh prepared ceviche, and incredible memories!

We were hoping to catch several tuna. Unfortunately, we only got one (enough for dinner!!!), but we also caught and released 2 sailfish which gave us quite a flight to bring in. Captain Michael and mate David were very attentive throughout the trip. We had a fantastic time!

This trip was the type of trip O needed to release stress and feel free of the regular day of work. The fishing trip is a very complete experience from the moment we got into the boat up to when we got back on shore. We start by having a ride through the beautiful mangroves around David as the sun rises through the horizon. I got to experience for the first time how live bait is cought and it's quite fun! After we were all set we were taken to Isla Ladrones to start fishing and it was the right place to be. Not long after we were there the first fish got hooked and it was pure fun after that. The Captain and Daniel were amazing helping us through the day. When we were all set they took us to Isla Games beach to relax a little and enjoy the ocean. It was a complete experience. I definitely recommend it to everyone.

Gran experiencia de pesca y de paseo se puede disfrutar con out of control. Si es tu primera vez de pesca se te hara muy facil ya que te pueden brindar diversas opciones de pesca en la cual te incluyen equipo completo comida y una de las mejores atenciones. Si eres un pescador con experiencia ya puedes disfrutar de los retos que out of control brinda en el golfo de chiriqui ya es opcional si deseas probar tu propio equipo o el de la embarcacion. En cuanto al bote es bastante amplio, comodo para poder praticar spinning popping y poder trabajar un buen pez. Los capitanes que usan son certificados con sus licencias personas de experiencia y lo importante saben donde estan los peces. La atencion que bridan es de lujo buena comida con bebida durante todo el viaje de pesca nunca hara falta una buena cerveza. Y el costo bastante modico y accesible para la experiencia que vas a vivir
