The trip was especially meaningful for our 10-year-old son. It was his very first time ocean fishing, and couldn’t have gone better. He not only had a blast, but he (& Dad) also caught two wahoo and several red snapper. What really stood out was how patient and attentive Captain Nate was. He took the time to explain everything in a way that was easy for a young beginner to understand and made sure our son felt involved every step of the way. You could tell he genuinely enjoys teaching and helping others experience the joy of fishing. We truly appreciate the effort put into making this such a special day for our family. Highly recommend Angle Drop to anyone, especially families looking to introduce their kids to ocean fishing in a supportive and exciting environment!

Everything was amazing! seas were too rough the day of our trip so we stayed in the intercostal and still had great fishing. it was my 12yo (has a relatively new passion for fishing) AuADHD son’s first charter and first time not fishing from shore of a lake. Captain Nate was so kind and really taught my son how to successfully reel in some great fish. My son is working on his fishing Merit Badge for Scouts and Capt Nate taught him how to fillet the fish when we got back to shore. my son who literally gags when he had tried fish before not only cooked his catch for us but he loved it so much! we had such a blast that we already booked a second trip while we are in town and we have decided this will be a yearly trip with Capt Nate- maybe more often if we can get to South Florida more! Don’t hesitate to book with capt Nate and Angle Drop!

We were able to land a phenomenal sailfish, a few mahi and plenty of action from bonitas all morning. Captain Nate is a fun easy going captain that goes out of his way to make kids and fishermen feel right at ease on his boat. He works hard from start to finish to put you on fish. We look forward to the next trip!

We caught some fish, had lots of laughs, and somehow managed to avoid becoming fish food ourselves. Highly recommend—arms are sore, we left with dinner, and our fishing stories are already getting bigger!

Two of us were incredibly inexperienced, despite that captain Nate was so patient and a wonderful, coaching us through it! The boat was super nice, music created a nice atmosphere, and he even cleaned the fish we caught for us! The only thing I regret is not booking the longer charter!

The weather was perfect. We all caught fish and had a wonderful time and honestly I can’t say enough about Captain Nate’s efforts to make sure we were all happy and had a great time. We will definitely book another adventure with him again! Top notch!

Sharked on a few. Do not blame the Captain, he even got sharked on one. Very humbling experience, but we will be back next time we are in the aea.

We had an amazing afternoon on the water with Captain Nate! While the fishing was a bit slow at first, Captain Nate went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. He switched things up and gave us the opportunity to fish for sharks—and we ended up catching a huge one! It was definitely the highlight of the trip and an unforgettable experience. Captain Nate was knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and genuinely committed to making sure everyone had a great time. His positive attitude and willingness to adapt made all the difference. We couldn’t have asked for a better crew or a more enjoyable afternoon. We highly recommend Captain Nate and would absolutely book another charter with him in the future!
