Kaptajn Josh byder alle velkommen om bord på sit charter, uanset deres fiskeerfaring. Selv hvis du aldrig har holdt et fiskestang i hånden, vil du få en fantastisk oplevelse. Din kaptajn vil vise dig det grundlæggende og er altid klar til at hjælpe, når du har brug for det.
Båden, du vil fiske fra, er en 22' Cape Horn. Denne bugbåd er perfekt til kystnære ture takket være sit lave dybgående og kan bevæge sig hurtigt, da den drives af en 250 HK Honda-motor. Med en maksimalhastighed på 40 knob ved du, at du vil bruge det meste af din tid på at fiske, ikke på at sejle.
Afhængigt af hvad du ønsker at fange, vil du bruge forskellige teknikker som spinning, trolling eller bundfiskeri. Dagens mål vil være Rød snapper, Stortandede hvarrer, Plettet kongemakrel, Rød trommefisk og Sorttrommefisk, for blot at nævne nogle få. Du kan beholde dit fangst, når det er i sæson, og kaptajnen vil rense og filetere det for dig.

Halvdagstur (Eftermiddag) den June 21, 2021 • 4 voksneWe had an afternoon trip schedule on a day with unsettled weather. Captain Josh suggested we delay our sailing an hour to let the storm pass. We were one of the first boats into the bay and set our sights on catching some Red Fish. First stop near Crab Island yield two 40 lbs. trophies. After landing four more good size Reds we headed to the west jetty and hauled in another six in the range of 20 to 30 lbs. Josh and his first mate were very knowledgeable on catching Red Fish and did an excellent job coaching us on the best way to land each fish. His boat and tackle were in top shape. We will definitely book with him next time we are in Fort Walton Beach / Destin.

We are repeat customers and will continue to use him. Great with kids and new fisherman too. Highest possible recommendation.

He had bait ready by the boat slip, all the tackle rigged and ready, and supreme knowledge of the area and techniques. Was a fantastic trip. Me, my wife, 11 year old daughter, and 15 year old son had a blast. We caught fish, saw porpoise and turtles, and took a quick dip in the gulf. You know it’s a success when you ask your kids, “ Would you do it again?” And the immediate response is, “ Yes!” Highly recommend Josh for any kind of trip.

If you are looking for someone that knows the area well and when catching slows down he doesn’t hesitate to move Captain Josh is your man!! We live in NC and knew it was to far to even try to keep our catch, but Captain Josh told us about a restaurant that will cook your fresh catch. Needless to say our dinner was very good! In the picture that is just one fish! We can’t wait to come back in the fall!!

This was hands down the best guided fishing trip I’ve ever taken. Capt. Josh had us on fish from the jump, first hook up was an 80+ lb Tarpon. From there it was off to find the Reds and boy did we find them at least 25 over 30 inches long with some shakers in between. We emptied the bait box as I write this my arms are still aching. Went and caught more bait then off to chase the Tarpon again. We found them and hooked up with 2 over 100lbs (estimated) did not get them to the boat (rookie angler—-Me) but it sure was fun trying. As I said in the beginning and needs to be repeated best trip ever. If you are coming to the Destin area and want sore arms look up Capt Josh Nelson at Out-Cast Fishings Charters he is awesome.
What a fishing experience! Josh worked so hard, spending a great deal of time trying to find the ideal live bait for our needs. Though not completely satisfied with the results, Josh began his efforts to put us on fish. After several unproductive attempts, his trained eye saw evidence of feeding redfish. Bingo! For over an hour, we had double and often triple hookups on large redfish! It was total chaos and an experience my three family members and I will NEVER forget! Thanks, Josh for all your hard work and your relentless efforts to put us on fish! Bill C.
