Pacific Wild Adventures 

My Father brought me here to Uclulet starting 25 years ago ..this trip it was just me and my 12 year old Son Diego The people and businesses that make up this Community are a big part of the reason we will continue to make the journey and add to our memories year after year,not to mention the World Class Fishing surrounded by amazing examples of Mother Natures Perfection!! Our Skipper and Guide for this trip was Dane Kaechele from Pacific Wild Adventures, we sighed up for a full 8 hour trip with high hopes of baging limits and making memories. We couldn't have picked a better guide for our trip, Dane was on a mission from the start to get us on the fish and he sure did!! We started Catching salmon 15 minutes after the short ride to the fishng grounds, each hook-up was an adventure,especially for my son, Dane was patient and guided him to landing the biggest Salmon of the day, an impressive 20 pounder !! Dane explained how the sonar worked so we could see the fish under the boat and "get ready" ...he would constantly check the lines and make sure all was working good, he changed a few colors and rigs until we had our limit of Salmon!!! the day was still young so he went a short distance to the halibut grounds and he worked the same way until we had or Halibut not monsters but good eaters!!! we were so happy with Captan Dane we decided to sigh up for another trip the following day That was a half day trip just 5 hours captain Dane saidi thnk i found a good set up for today's trip ..i would agree we had 3 doubles and landed 5 out of 6 Salmon in 1 hours time ...Amazing ...lots of high fives and smiles on both trips but that was something special! look up Captain Dane at Pacific Wild Adventures and let him do his thing !!! If you're looking for a local knowledgeable guide Dane is your man! My girlfriend and I had a great time! Dane was very friendly and put up with all of our questions! I was able to catch my first ever salmon! He even took a little extra time to get us a ling cod to end the day! Highly recommend this trip to anyone from first timers to seasoned fishermen. Also very helpful with recommending places to pack fish for traveling.

Went out with Dane early morning with my 12 year old son and his great uncle. We limited out on Chinook in what felt like record time! Switched it up and went home with some ling cod, seabass, and a rockfish. Captain Dane was excellent, and knew what would be important for my son. An absolutely amazing day, so glad we went out with Pacific Wild Adventures!

Dad and daughter both love boat fishing in the Florida Keys, however this was a different level, just the 2 of them with Dale. Dale was really helpful, very kind and made the trip an amazing experience. His consideration and assistance with our daughter - having his own young children, made for a great and pleasant trip. As well as catching a variety of fish, they both caught their biggest fish ever, dads was a 25lb chinook! No hesitation in recommending Dale and a 2nd trip is already planned.

We had a double header with a couple monster halibut one was 130cm and the other was 124cm. Cpt Dane figure right away they were breeders and too big to keep so to be safe we couldn't gaff them even when the net broke. There was a lot of chaos trying to measure these fish while keeping them safe. Fortunately we did finally net them, measured them and they got a safe send-off back into the water. We were more concerned about their safe return so we didn't get a chance to weight them but they were easily in the 50+lbs range and we were extremely happy to see them swim away. SO MUCH EXCITEMENT!!! A little later we had another double header with some keepers. One nice size keeper was 97cm weighed in at 34lbs!! Super nice fish!!! We got a good box full!! Salmon just weren't running at the time, so no boats were catching them. Dane was a super awesome guide and had extensive knowledge of the area - two double headers was insane! We will be booking again soon!!!!
