If you're ready to get hooked on fishing at Lake Tawakoni, look no further than Chums On The Water.
Depending on conditions, you might hook into Hybrid Striped Bass, White Bass, Catfish, and plenty more. On these trips, it's common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are permitted onboard — bring your favorites for a boost of energy when needed!
Your day begins aboard a 24' Blazer Bay center console that can carry up to 4 passengers. It has all the essentials. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait may be used as well at certain times of the year.
You will need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
It's always wise to bring sunscreen (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Your trip with Chums On The Water is just a click away, so why not make it happen?

Brett was awesome and very knowledgeable of the area. We booked an afternoon trip for 1pm but he kept us informed that morning charter was leaving early so we were able to go out two hours early. It didn’t take but 1.5 hours to have enough for a two person big mess of fish. We continued fishing with catch and release since sure didn’t kneed 50 fish or 100 fillets. Then back to the dock and Brett went right to work cleaning and packaging fish. Awesome day and excellent guide. And I say that because been on numerous charters trips but this was by far in the top two. Thanks for such an awesome day Bret, keep catching buddy.

Brett with Chums on the Water is an excellent guide. Not only did i catch my new PB blue cat, I learned a lot from him as he was willing to share his vast knowledge of everything from different set-ups to answering all the questions I had about the boat electronics and everything in between. It was as much a learning experience as it was a fishing trip and he did not disappoint on either front.
I recently had some close friends come in from out of town and we had an absolute blast catching fish on the lake. Brett made the experience unforgettable!
Brett put us on the fish and kept us one them till it was time to go. Was a great trip and will be doing it again.

Had a great time and caught a mess of fish. From the lake to the fryer.
We booked a 5 hr trip and limited out on our fish in just two hours. He drove us around to find bigger ones as well. Highly recommend! Was very friendly and knowledgeable.
Brett is the best guide hand down!!! I have used many guides in the past and no one was as thorough. Brett called the day before to discuss the trip, what was expected and needed. He was at the dock ready when we got there and ready to fish. He put us on the fish right away even though he thought it wasn't going to be a great day due to no wind and hottttt! SEVENTY plus fish later and SIXTY in the cooler. I'd say that a awesome day for three people in August. I can't say enough about Brett and the awesome experience!! If you want to catch fish and have a awesome guide with a great attitude and knowledge CHUM ON THE WATER is the charter for you!!

Fishing is fun … when you catch fish! We had a lot of fun with Chums On the Water. I’ve been fishing with many guides and Captain Brett is among the best. Brett is knowledgeable, put us on the fish and we left with good memories, plenty of action and several pounds of filets. If you need a guide, don’t hesitate to reach out to Chums On the Water. I’m glad that we did!!
Bret with Chums in the Water was excellent at communicating and giving needed information for meeting place and what to expect. He was good with my three grandsons and put us on fish until the kids were tired of catching fish! They have good equipment and are very knowledgeable. We all had a great time!
Caught a limit of white bass by 10:30 and was back at launch before 11:00. This was my wife’s first guided trip and she loved it. Brett was very helpful and knew where the fish were.
