For these species, you're likely to troll and bottom fish using light tackle.
Trips with Carolina Fly Guy are kid-friendly, so feel free to make a family day out of it! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Customers are encouraged to bring snacks to maintain their energy throughout the trip!
You'll be welcome aboard a 22' Sea Pro bay boat that can carry up to 6 passengers. It has everything else you need for a productive day on the water.
Rods, reels, and tackle are ready for you. Live bait is included, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
Before coming aboard, no need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
It's always wise to bring sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and sunglasses. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

I had a specific request of “keep my non-fisherman son and his buddy busy for 3hrs and then give me a few mins with my fly rod for redfish/flounder/trout”. He is very responsive to questions through the app and was waiting with a boat full of bait at the dock. Ashley came through on both requests with 40+ whiting and a fly-caught flounder in a 4-hr morning trip. He then filleted all but the flounder (returned unharmed…out of season) and sent us on our way. Great guide providing a great time and conversation! Thanks Ashley!
