Species like Amberjack, Needlefish, Gurnard, Dentex, Bonito, Scorpionfish, European Seabass, Squid, Bigeye Tuna, Bluefin Tuna, Gilt-head (Seabream), and more inhabit these waters, depending on conditions. On these trips, you can expect to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. For the more adventurous among you, there's spearfishing.
Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Don't forget to bring snacks to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!
Your boat for the day is a 20' Beneteau Antares 600 HB sportfishing vessel for 4 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, as well as lures. Live bait is alowed, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
There's no need to buy a fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
It's always wise to bring sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Unsere Zielfische haben wir leider nicht alle fangen können. Aber wir wissen ja, nicht jeder Tag ist auch ein Fangtag. Trotzdem hat uns der Ausflug sehr gefallen und würden Matej auch gern weiterempfehlen.

Matej is very experienced and knows where the fish are. He tells you exactly which fish to expect and explains the correct technique. He makes it a fun day with sandwiches and drinks. I can recommend him to everyone.

8 Hour Trip – Big Game den August 17, 2023We went on a runa fishing tour with Mati and it was awesome. Mati has in depth knowledge of the sea and his boat is top notch, safe and comfortable, perfect for a personal tour for up to 5 people. He has developed his own technique for tuna fishing and has competition gear, as you can tell from the photos. The result was a tuna around 80kg and 190cm, 55 Minutes of fighting and the trip of a lifetime. The price is more than fair, communication is perfect and Mati is really doing an outstanding job. You can feel that the boss is going with you as s friend and not a bis company and some random skipper. 10/10 recommended

Will do everything in his power to see you catch the best fish! We Even spend some more time on the water then provided. Highly recommended. We catchd some fish and lost some big won' s because whe didn't have the experience to quickly reel in the fish.

I wouldnt recommend spinning fishing for newbies as it requires some skill, but he offers other fishing styles as well. If you want to have a great time, see dolphins and a private boat trip with a great captain - this is your choice

He knows when to use wich techniques. We caught a view nice bluefish and even a 4.5kg leerfish! In the beautiful sunset we also had a sandwich and drinks...all taken care of by Cpt. Matej. If you're near Rovinj and enjoy fishing....don't hasitate and book a trip with this guy!

Hat mir die Angel neu mit Köder gemacht. Ich habe 4 red snapper am Ende geangelt. Es war ne schone Erfahrung. Kann nur weiter empfehlen

es war ein schöner Ausflug leider haben wir nix gefangen falsche Zeit im Juli der Captain hat sogar noch eine Std dran gehangen ud hat versucht uns an Fisch zu bringen aber as ist nunmal Angeln
Vielen Dank für Ihr Verständnis. Leider gibt es solche Tage. Wir haben alles versucht, aber die Fische haben nichts gebissen. Ich tue immer mein Bestes, und eine zusätzliche Stunde Angeln ohne Aufpreis ist das geringste Problem. Ich versuche wirklich alles, um etwas zu fangen, aber es war einfach kein guter Angeltag. Nochmals vielen Dank.
