Med en livslang erfaring med at fiske i Casco Bay fra Royal River til Fore River og Back Bay, tilbyder kaptajn Aaron Landry lystfiskere en fuld rundtur i bifloder, sletter og strande, samt de klippefulde kyster ved Cape Elizabeth og de mange øer ud for Portland.
Lystfiskere kan forvente en meget visuel oplevelse med at fiske i lavvandede områder, hvor man ofte spotter fisken inden kastet. Fra mange års fiskeri i Casco Bays farvande har kaptajn Aaron et dybt kendskab til bestanden af stribet bars, der migrerer ind i Gulf of Maine hvert år.
Kaptajn Aaron tilpasser turen efter lystfiskernes ønsker samt vejr, tidevandsskemaer og fiskenes migrationsstatus. Charterne vil primært fokusere på stribet bars. Andre arter kan målrettes efter anmodning. Lystfiskerne får stillet stænger, hjul og grej til rådighed til alle fiskesituationer.
Båden vil være forsynet med en køleboks med is, Gatorade og vand, og licenser er inkluderet.

He was very knowledgeable of the area and knew where the fish were. We caught Cod. Pollack, Mackerel and another type I don’t remember the name. He narrated the whole trip explaining the area around Portland Harbor and the Portland Head Lighthouse. When our time was up he took extra time to show us seal that we said we were interested in seeing. It was a great day for our family of six and we highly recommend Rock and Sand Charters with Captain Aaron.

He was probably happier and super psyched when we landed 2 HUGE stripers after hunting them for a few hours. Thanks for showing us a super unique way of fishing...we enjoyed our time so much!!

Captain Aaron was incredibly accommodating, friendly, and gave us the perfect experience. You can tell that he is super passionate about what he does and his enjoyment is infectious. This turned out to be the best present ever! He not only call his first fish, but was the first one on the trip to catch a fish. Aaron was awesome! He patiently answered all of our questions and was as excited as we were when Zander caught his fish. We have already talked about making this an annual thing

Despite both of us being relative beginners to striper fishing, with Aaron’s guidance we were each able to catch multiple fish. Captain Aaron showed us many good spots, and gave us pointers where needed without being overbearing. My husband uses a fly rod and I use a spin reel, and Aaron was able to help each of us with the best techniques for both. I highly recommend this charter service!

It was fun for sure despite one down and out with the rolling waves. We never had fished for bait fish so that was new to us. Only thing is we wish there was bait on board so we could have fished for stripper longer. We are an expercied fihsing crew and sometimes you are on them and sometimes not. We higly recommend!
Our experience was off the charts. Grandsons caught tons of fish!! Captain Aaron was great with the boys - very patient , positive and knowledgeable. We will definitly book again!!!
