Ud for nordkysten krydser den kæmpe migrerende Tarpon hele øen i løbet af sæsonen. Fiskeri i Holbox betragtes som et af de mest spektakulære i verden for trofæ 'sølvkonger' (kæmpe Tarpon).
Mod syd er der miles af laguner fyldt med juvenile Tarpon og Snook.

The nature was absolutely stunning! Our guide, was exceptional — his knowledge of the area and ability to locate fish made all the difference. He put in a huge effort to make the trip a success, always keeping the customer experience as his top priority. Thanks to him, we managed to hook quite a few nice baby tarpon on light tackle. An unforgettable experience that I can fully recommend to anyone looking for a true Holbox fishing adventure!
