Fish Happens sportfishing boat 

Captain Noah was very knowledgeable about the area and fishing locations, he took us to several spots and we were able to catch 4 fish, a Red Snapper, which we took back to the hotel and they prepared it for us for dinner, a Scorpion Fish, a very large needlefish and, the highlight of the day, a Roosterfish which was very large and he took great care in ensuring the survival of the fish. The first mate Sebastian was very helpful with managing the rods and handling all of the bait and fish. The journey to the fishing locations is not very far from playa Herradura so we spent virtually the entire 4 hours fishing which was great!

Noah and Charlie were nothing less than awesome! I took 4 chargers on a week and this tiny boat was by far the best in terms of fishing, experience and results. They planned the day, asked what we wanted to catch and made it happen. We caught bait and a Rooster Fish before another boat had even caught bait. Noah and Charlie worked the water to find fish and mashed it a great day. We caught 9 different species! the other boats didn't come close even though we had bigger boats and more expensive days. I am a seasoned fisherman and i highly recommend Fish Happens! Thanks Noah and Charlie!

We had an amazing day fishing with Noah. My boyfriend's goal was to catch a roosterfish, and he came so close! Even though it got away, the day was a huge success. He caught several mahi mahi, and being able to take some back and cook it was one of the highlights of our trip. Noah knew exactly where to go, kept us on fish, and made the whole experience fun and enjoyable. The day itself was beautiful. Noah provided drinks, a delicious lunch, and fresh pineapple, and we even got to jump in the water for a bit. It was the perfect mix of fishing, relaxing, and enjoying being on the water in Costa Rica. When we make it back to Costa Rica to try for that roosterfish again, we'll definitely be booking with Noah. Highly recommend!

my wife and i went on a charter with noah and charlie from fish happens and had an awesome time! very kind and helpful captain and first mate and seemed like they enjoyed the trip as much as we did. they provided food, drinks, fruit and even some beers. we caught a bunch of fish and went straight from the boat to a restaraunt at the drop off point and had the best fish tacos ive ever had with the fish we had just caught. Great trip would do it again 🤙

Captain Noah and First Mate Charlie are the best of the best. While the boat is small and can only accommodate two anglers comfortably, what the boat lacks in size Charlie and Noah more than make up for in their knowledge and work ethic. We trolled nearly 34 miles on an inshore charter, using live sardines and rapala lures. Within the first 5 minutes we boated our first of FIVE Rooster fish caught on the morning, including THREE ROOSERS AT ONE TIME, with Captain, Charlie, and myself all fighting fish simultaneously. What an unbelievable experience. In all, we also landed Spanish mackerel, Jack Crevalle, and needlefish, with a total catch of 12 for the morning. One of the finer experiences I have had on the water.

Noah and his crew take your fishing experience to the next level! Communication is there from day of booking until you get to the boat. Noah and the crew cater to your desires and really makes it a personalized fishing experience. Provided drinks and snacks throughout our 5 hour trip and took us to multiple fishing spots. Was patient and friendly when teaching us the fundamentals. We caught a barracuda and they made fresh sashimi right on the boat while we were still fishing. Unforgettable experience in Costa Rica and can’t wait to visit Captain Noah again.

spent the day searching for structures and finally found a floating log and landed so many Mahi Mahi!! boat and equipment could be better but we caught a ton of fish! you dont need the best gear to catch fish just gotta get out there and fish! you get picked up on a green panga from the beach and dropped off to your boat. We loved the included snack and drinks! Had a variety of different snacks and drinks. Still should bring your own water if you drink a lot! The fresh pineapple was delicious!!!

This was our first ocean fishing experience and it was incredible. If your looking for the most affordable option for a couple or small group this is it! our captain did a great job putting us on the fish. We caught 2 Rooster fish, a needle fish, a red snapper, and a snook! I could tell the effort they put in was above and beyond based in seeing other boats. they cleaned our catches wonderfully. Drinks and snacks were included as well. I would recommend Noah and tbis charter to anyone I see!

Capt Noah and Sabastian were incredible guides and great guys. Laid back approach, asked me what I wanted to catch and then put us on the meat. You wont find a better trip for your money. Will definitely go again next time I’m here.

The 5-hour trip with Noah and Sebastian was great. They were trolling three rods with live bait the whole time while I was casting poppers from the bow. We focused exclusively on catching Roosterfish, and because of the light leader we lost quite a few fish, but that’s part of the game and it was still a lot of fun. Highly recommended. It honestly felt like fishing with your bros.
