Captain Froggy's Charter Fishing 

Firstly, Captain Froggy called the day before to give me a rundown, which was great. I’ve never had another Captain do this. He also informed me that Captain Mike would be taking us out on the trip. We met Captain Mike at the boat the day of, he gave us the safety rundown and welcomed us aboard. As we were on our way out he answered all of the possible questions, a very knowledgeable fisherman! Long story short, we quickly got on some nice drum! It wad a blast! Captain Mike made sure that we had a good time. Thank you, gentlemen! I highly recommend Captain Froggy’s charter!

We all had such a great time with Captain Mike. Although the ocean was too rough that day to go out, we had a great afternoon fishing in the sound. Captain Mike found us a really good fishing hole and three of us were able to land some huge red drum with the biggest being 34 inches! My dad has been fishing on various trips throughout our years visiting OBX and he said this was the biggest drum he ever caught. I highly recommend booking through Captain Froggy, it was a great time had by all!

We had booked a near shore trip, but the captain had gone out earlier and commented on the breakers being tough. We opted to do sound fishing instead. We caught Pin fish, Blue fish. It was awesome just catching these fish sometimes 2 at a time! My husband and I had decided that we want to do this at least once a year! I would recommend anyone to give them a try. Micheal was awesome and we had a great time.

Captain Michael is a great captain and he made it a point to catch fish we were able to bring home a beautiful blue and a Puppy Drum , we we unable to bring home a beautiful red drum at 35 3/4 of an inch that was the catch for my wife her personal best , my stepsons biggest blue and our sons first Puppy drum ! But more importantly is Captain Michaels knowledge on the history of Wanchese NC 

Capt Froggy and his first mate Drake worked hard to find us the fish; with the idea of getting enough for dinner, and then going after something bigger. We caught 22 Spanish Mackerel and 1 Blue Gill which gave us more than enough to eat that night. We weren't able to pull in a Red Drum, but all in all the trip was great and my kids had a blast.

captain mike was great! super accommodating! Great with the kids. He even noticed when they were cold and offered rain coats to keep warm saving the trip. At one point we had 4 rods hooked up all at once. fishing is a patience game and this was definitely one we will do again! bring drinks and snacks to fill in the gaps and you should have a great time! Maybe a couple extra layers because it gets cold if its windy and cloudy.

We rebooked another trip this year with Captain Froggy. The experience with him and his grandson is always great. He does his best to find you the fish. This trip would have been even better with more fish but that was no fault of Captain Froggy at all. I would definitely book again and fully plan to.

We had a great experience! Fishing weren’t biting however my daughter did catch a stingray! Then on the way back we seen a bunch of dolphins! It was really cool. We have been on the dolphin tour twice and never seen as many dolphins as we did coming back from fishing. The captain was great!

We had such a great fishing trip! Mike was awesome with our backwards kids and made the whole experience fun for everyone. The highlight was catching two huge red drum! We had a blast and would absolutely book with him again. Definitely a highlight of our vacation!

Captain Mike was great. He made the boat ride in and out very manageable for members of our group that experience challenges with heavy swell. We managed to catch several Spanish mackerel which always makes the time on the water even better. Thank you again for an awesome time.
