Just when heading home, my wife was wanting something we could cook. Granddaughter hooks yellow fin tuna minutes later. Couldn't ask for a better ending to a great day! Captain Frank Berrocal, Jeremy, and Kendall (crew) made it all happen. Will be back ASAP and will again use Coyote Tres!

We did not catch any of the bigger fish we were going for (sailfish or mahi mahi), but the captain and crew definitely tried their hardest. They told us in the morning that the weather has been rainy and they haven't been catching much. We did catch many bonita, so everyone got a chance to reel something in. We ended the day with one macrel that they fileted for us and we ate. The boat was very nice and clean and they provided snacks and drinks all day. We saw a large pod of dolphins the captain followed for us so we could get up close. Everything was wonderful!

7 Hour Trip

Initially got a couple of short hook ups with a striped marlin and teased by a blue marlin. We then followed a school of spinner dolphins and Capt. Frank put my mom onto a huge yellowfin tuna. Both mates Issac and Victor coached my mom through the fight and eventually landed the monster. Definitely the biggest fish she’s ever caught. After that we got a nice sailfish. Great crew, very informative and helpful. My whole family have a great time, even my two year old daughter!!!

Best Trip Ever!
Halvdagstur (AM) den June 29, 2025 • 6 voksneWe have been on a lot of chartered trips but this one topped them all. Frank and Luis were top notch. We started the day with 5 fish on at once….and wrapped up the 1/2 day trip with another “5 hook up”. We hooked 7 species of fish, including Wahoo, Sailfish, and a Shark. On the way back Luis prepared fresh pineapple and Tuna sashimi from our catch. Will definitely book Frank again next time in Tamarindo!

What an incredible day on the water! From the moment we stepped aboard, the captain and crew were friendly, professional, and focused on making sure everyone had a great experience. The boat was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The fishing was outstanding, and the crew worked hard to put us on the fish. They were knowledgeable, patient, and always ready to help with landing fish, and sharing tips. Whether you’re an experienced angler or a first-time fisherman, they make the trip enjoyable and stress-free. Beyond the fishing, the scenery and wildlife sightings were amazing, making the entire excursion memorable. We caught a good amount of fish, created lasting family memories, and had a fantastic time from start to finish. I highly recommend this charter to anyone looking for a first-class deep sea fishing experience. We can’t wait to come back and fish with them again!

I am completing this for my son-in-law. i booked three boats this morning and unfortunately for me was on one of the others. highlights. son and his two sons all hooked snd landed nice sail fish. a very special and rewarding outing. Captain and crew did great job. woukd recommend snd charter again
