Thank you Captain Salvador and Jose for a great day in San Jose del Cabo. Marlin fishing was a once in a lifetime trip for us! In addition to a nice boat ride during beautiful weather, we saw dolphins, whales, & sea lions. We can't wait to come back and catch some mahi mahi with you next time. :)

We had Salvador and Juan as captains, they were very knowledgeable, experienced and helpful. We caught dorado, tuna, and a sailfish. We had an amazing time with them and would 100% recommend this company to others. It was such a fun day of fishing and I cannot wait to come back!

Great morning of fishing
6 Hour Trip den March 27, 2024 • 5 voksneWe did the 6 hour trip in the morning. Salvador and crew were great. Caught tons of fish, saw pods of dolphins, ridiculous number of whales. They hit great fishing spots and more or less we were catching fish all morning- mackerel and trigger, lots of other fish catch and release. It was a great morning and I will definitely use them again the next time I go fishing in Cabo. It is worth it to go to the other Marina.

Would highly recommend to anyone who would like to go catch fish. Salvador speaks good enough English that we were able to communicate well. Jaime met us when we were lost and took us to park, then to the boat. After our trip he vacuum sealed and delivered our fish to us our next day. We are a seasoned fishing family from the Pacific Northwest and this operation is top notch!

At least 20 fish. Grouper, snapper, mackerel and a bonus yellow 25kg yellow tail. Pack your own snacks and drinks - this is about the fishing - not as much of a fish and booze cruise like others. For us that was perfect.

The captain and crw were great they tried hard to carch fish but caught only one small mahi. I was toldthat the boat i booked was broke down andthat i was going on a different boat. once we got out on the water i saw the boat i paid for fishing new to us. Kinda shady to me. Next time I will go elsewhere to fish
This was our first time deep sea fishing but I would highly recommend booking a larger boat that has some features like shaded seating, air cooled area and has more to offer than just warm bottled water. The captain and crew mate introduced themselves at the dock but then did not talk to us or give us any instructions or until a fish got hooked on one of the lines. We only caught one fish which was about a 90lb tuna and no other bites. It was a miserable ride back to the dock as it was hot as hell, littel to no shade, uncomfortable seats and no ice for drinks or to keep our fish cold/cool.
Thank you for the feedback and congratulations again on your 90lb tuna, a great result for a first deep sea trip. We do want to clarify a few details. Ice was available in the cooler throughout the trip, and the boat has shade coverage for all passengers, both of which were in place the entire time. Your original booking was for a 4 hour nearshore trip, but since the bite was slow, our crew extended it to 6 hours at no extra cost and ran further offshore than your package covered, specifically to improve your chances of a catch. We're proud of the effort our crew put in that day and stand behind the boat and the service provided. We'd be glad to share photos from the trip that reflect these conditions. The trip was one of the "should have been here yesterday" or even should have been here this morning that nearly all of us have experienced. High pressure system moved through mid-day and picked up the chop and killed the fishing. The morning trips were still cleaning bunches of mahi and tuna when we arrived for the trip, but there was not a single fish at the cleaning tables when we returned :( However, the captain and Jose fished as hard as they could have. We tried live bait sets and chum at three spots to see if there were tuna or mahi. Then we drove almost all the way to Cabo San Lucas to try another spot. Nothing... Then we put on a 5-line trolling set (2 ballyhoo) and trolled all the way back from CSL to SJDC looking for a marlin or big mahi. Basically we tried everything one might expect and just got skunked. The effort and efficiency were there though.
