    Top Angel Ausflug

Genau solche Tage bleiben in Erinnerung! 😍 Vielen Dank für dieses tolle Erlebnis – ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder! Freue mich jetzt schon auf das nächste Mal! 🎣🐟

(Half Day Trip – Fish/Snorkel Combo)

    Great day out

Alex took the entire family out for the day. We bounced between fishing and snorkeling on a full day trip. Well worth it. Especially for cruise ship passengers. A way to see and do so much.

Pacific Barracuda fishing is all about speed, sharp teeth, and sudden strikes. This sleek predator schools near the surface and around reefs, kelp, and bait balls. Anglers target it for fast action, powerful runs, and exciting sight bites. It is a classic light tackle sport fish that rewards quick reflexes and steady pressure.

You can catch Pacific Barracuda by inshore fishing and nearshore trolling. Popular techniques include casting metal jigs, spoons, and surface irons with a fast, steady retrieve. Small diving plugs also work well when trolled along current edges. Live bait like anchovies or sardines is a top choice. Use wire leader if bite‑offs become a problem, or heavier fluorocarbon for a stealthy look.

Expect quick hookups and flurries of action when schools move through. Fights are energetic but manageable, which makes this a great target for first‑time anglers and kids. Keep hands clear of the mouth, and use long‑nose pliers for safe releases. Bring sun protection, polarized sunglasses to spot fish, and a hat. Your captain will usually provide tackle, but ask about leaders and lures before the trip. Many anglers release fish, while others keep a legal catch for the table.

Regulations can change by area. Always check local fishing license and permit rules before you go. Review season dates, open areas, and harvest limits for Pacific Barracuda. Some places may have gear or handling rules meant to protect fish. When in doubt, ask your captain or local authority and follow current guidelines.
