    (Half Day – Sportfishing)

    Great experience

Many thanks to Captain Billy, he responded quickly: we've booked the trip in the evening (6pm) and the next day early morning were at the sea. My parents never tried ocean fishing before, so it was important to do everything wright to get the right experience and catch some good fish. what we did. thanks a lot!

This was the best fishing trip ever!

Rick was amazing. This was the best fishing trip i have ever been on. We caught our limit in 45 minutes. i always joke that i only want to go fishing when they are jumping in the boat. Rick put us on rhe fish like they were jumping in the boat. This trip was amazing to say the least! We could not ask for more.

Red Emperor Snapper is a bold reef predator prized for its power and rich, white meat. Anglers love its bright color, solid build, and stubborn fight near the bottom. If you want a classic reef challenge and a great meal, Red Emperor Snapper fishing is hard to beat.

Most trips target this fish by bottom fishing around reefs and rubble. Crews often anchor or drift to cover ground. Heavy tackle and abrasion‑resistant leaders help keep fish out of sharp coral. Fresh bait like squid, mullet, or octopus works well. Large soft plastics and slow‑pitch or demersal jigs also get strikes; these are weighted lures worked close to the seabed.

Expect strong runs, heavy headshakes, and a steady tug‑of‑war close to structure. This suits anglers who enjoy patient, hands‑on action and good table fare. Bring sun protection, a hat, polarized sunglasses, and non‑slip shoes. A camera is smart for quick photos before icing your catch. Most charters supply tackle and bait, but check what is included and ask about recommended clothing, snacks, and drinks.

Rules for Red Emperor Snapper vary by location. Before your trip, check local fishing license or permit needs, as well as any open seasons, size limits, bag limits, gear rules, and marine protected areas. Regulations change, so review official guidance close to your departure date and follow your captain’s advice on responsible harvest.
