Great Experiece!!
We had a fantastic time with Captain Man! He got us on the white trout quickly and after we got plenty in the cooler, he took us out to try for some tripletail. He provided excellent intruction and guidance on how to land them and we ended up catching several, including one niced sized keeper. Captain Man is a great down to earth guy and we enjoyed swapping hunting and fishing stories with him. We will definitely book with him again when we get back to the area!

Captain Robert was GREAT!
Captain Robert is a very down to earth, open, guy that makes for great conversations. He knew the waters we fished very well. Most guides talk above you. He let my wife n I do things our way, wuth mixing in his tips here or there. As an avid fisherman, who has 45 years experience, I truly appreciated that fact in his demeanor! O highly recommend him n will definitely use him again!!

TRIPLETAIL - CAN’T SAY I’VE NEVER CAUGHT ANYMORE!
Had a great day with Capt Marcus! My goal was to catch Tripletail, something I’ve never done before. He put us on the fish right away! He also taught a lifetime fisherman something new today. I’ll not be plopping breakfast on the table when I’m out fishing with him again!😂 You’ll have to ask him about it when you book with him. You will not regret booking with him. I had a blast and am looking forward to the next time! Thanks, Marcus! Great Day!
Om Sort trehale fiskeri
Tripletail are quirky, hard-fighting saltwater game fish known for floating on their sides near the surface. Anglers target them for exciting sight casting, surprising power on light tackle, and delicious, mild fillets. They live in warm coastal waters worldwide and show up around anything that drifts or offers shade.
Most trips use inshore fishing or nearshore runs along crab traps, channel markers, weed lines, and buoy chains. Captains often slow-troll or idle to spot fish, then set up a careful approach. Live shrimp or small crabs are top baits. Soft plastics and small jigs work well, too. Fly fishing with shrimp or baitfish patterns is effective when fish are calm and close.
Expect a visual, hands-on hunt with short moves and accurate casts. Many bites happen right next to floating debris, so be ready. Tripletail hit hard, then dive for cover, so a firm rod, smooth drag, and abrasion-resistant leader help. Polarized sunglasses are key for spotting fish. Bring sun protection, a hat, and water. A landing net is useful because Tripletail have sharp gill plates. This trip suits families, first-timers, and seasoned anglers who enjoy light tackle and clear targets.
Before you go, check local rules for fishing licenses, permits, seasons, and harvest limits. Regulations can change by region and time of year. Your captain can explain current rules and safe handling practices, and can advise on release or harvest where allowed.
