Capt. William Mcdonnell has over 50 years of experience fishing in these waters. He started Dominator Charters after working on a 85 foot boat that did 3 day charters. After 6 years of this job he decided he wanted to guide family fishing trips and have fun doing it. He mainly fishes for Shark, Giant Redfish, King Mackerel, Cobia and Trout.

    Captain Bill and Chad his deck hand were great. Captain Bill was so knowledgeable and took care of us. he and Chad were so friendly and made sure we had a great rome catchin some sharks!

    February fishing trip

    One of the best trips we’ve ever been on. we caught 10 sheephead and a drum. The guide was absolutely amazing. He knew exactly where to go and put us on plenty of fish.

    Captain Bill was very responsive. He followed up immediately after I booked the trip. He told us honestly that fishing might not be great due to the time of year and weather. We decided to try anyway. The weather wasn't great, but captain Bill put us on the fish. My family of 5 caught a good mess of fish and had a blast doing it. Captain Bill was busy the whole time untangling our lines for the kids and scooping up our catches with the net. He told us a lot about the fishing culture here and the ecology of the gulf coast. Definitely recommend this fishing charter.
