In the past, I worked as a ghillie on the lochs and waterways in the Highlands of Scotland. I live near the banks of the world famous Loch Ness and have long wanted to start my own company as a guide here - it is the most beautiful place to work! A lot of people come to Scotland to fish for Salmon but my favourite species is the elusive Ferox Trout. Captain Stuart has been fishing the waters of Loch Ness and the surrounding lochs and rivers for over two decades, giving him a vast wealth of knowledge he's keen on sharing with his customers. He also produces his own mepps and lures of high quality, specifically for targeting the species living around Loch Ness.

    Half day trip with captain

    The family enjoyed the trip. The captain was nice. The only issue was that we were expecting to pay with credit/debit card and when we arrived we were asked for cash. I didn’t have enough cash with me and there was not ATM for miles, so fortunately I could get some money from the owner of the only shop 5-10min away. Apart from that the experience was good.

    lovely sunny calm morning - fishing slow but Captain Stuart did everything he could to put me on fish. Excellent experience that i will repeat in the future

    Fishing on Loch Ness. Fish do not always bite the line. Do not go expecting you will catch anything. We did 4 hours and caught 1 trout. Slightly disappointing. The scenery was amazing. It would have been nice to have been offere a drink in 4 hours. And there is nowhere really to sit down, please bear this in mind. Our son was a little upset as he was expecting more fish.

    An absolutely fantastic experience fishing the iconic Loch Ness along with Captain Stuart who was a fantastic host and captain. We will definitely do this again next time we are in the area.
