    What a great morning!

    Capt. George and mate Abe were top notch! Kept us on the fish pretty consistently. Experienced my first triple after a few decades of great lakes fishing experience. George's boat is also one of the cleanest, well kept charters I've ever been aboard. Highly recommended!

    A Fantastic Morning on The Lake!

    Captain George Freeman and Abe were already aboard Freestyle as we arrived. We were welcomed aboard a spotless boat with everything ready to go, after a safety briefing and an introduction we were off. It was a beautiful morning, catching the sun come up and then the first fish, the fight the excitement as I landed a 22.5 lb salmon. This was quickly followed by a very slightly small trout but still a great fish. We then headed to deeper waters to chase more fish. Both Captain George and Abe worked hard to locate more fish and we were soon rewarded with Two Salmon that were landed at the same time, the perfect way to end our morning on the Lake. Then we headed back to the Marina where Abe set about preparing our catch. Abe took the time to explain the filleting process to us novice fishermen. We were very surprised by the amount of fish we will be enjoying for the weeks to come. Can’t thank Captain George and Abe enough for a memorable Lake Michigan fishing Trip. These guys went above and beyond to make the day very special for my other half. We will be Back! Thank You so much. Gillian Griffiths Wales. U.K.

    Well worth the money

    Great time today. Our group age ranged from 6 to 76. Everyone had a blast. On the fish pretty quick. The Captain and Abe were wonderful to fish with. Would recommend to anyone, and we aren't just weekend warrior fisherman.

    If you’re looking for a great charter look no further. Captain George and Ab worked the whole time to make sure we caught fish. We caught 9 kings and 3 lake trout. One king was almost 22 lbs. Also, I cant stress enough how nice the guys were, very personal and just an overall blast. We will definitely be returning. Thanks again!

    There was a light rain when we set up off the bank north of Ludington this morning. There were a decent number of marks on our graph, but they weren’t biting right away. We had everything set except our deepest coppers when we hit a fish on our port low wire diver out 125 with an 8″ Black White Crush Green Dot Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly. It hit and was gone. That diver went one more time and we didn’t get that one either. Those were our only two diver bites. Our port rigger down 85 first and then down 100 with a pair of Super Slim Half Green Jeans went several times. The stack was pinned 20 feet above the main bait. The same with the starboard out down set at 65. It had an SS Green Hulk stacked with a SS Half Green Jeans. We took 2 fish on the same rod on that out down. The chute rigger down 105 with an 11″ DW White Slick Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly stacked with a SS Half Green Jeans took our biggest King. It took the Paddle. Later in the trip we took a Laker on the same Paddle 150 down. We took a couple fish on the stack too. Our 6 color, 10 color cores, **hidden content** & 300 coppers all took fish with Super Slim Spoons. One of our bigger Kings came on the 275 copper with a SS Soda. We use Morgan’s Tackle copper and wire and our lead cores and coppers with Dreamweaver Ninja Boards.

    Our trip was booked for Memorial Day weekend. What a great choice!! Very helpful with booking as our first choice time was not available, we were easily changed. The captain was knowledgeable and fun to be around. The boys came home with 10 huge fish, enough to feed an army! Highly recommend, we will do this again!

    Left the dock at 5 am, roughly an hour after we had our first double. Capt George and Seth were great , I felt like we were all family. We limited out early. The Free Style is a clean and comfortable boat. Thanks George and Seth for a great morning.

May Fishing in Ludington Excellent

Great action our last two trips.We are catching limits of Lake Trout with an occasional King Salmon & Brown Trout mixed in. We have been catching the Trout between 45 & 65 feet of water fishing Dreamweaver Spin Doctors trailed by DW Whirly Gigs. While trolling for Lakers we also have out various lengths of lead core line with spoons on the end hoping to catch a King, Steelhead or Brown. This is fun fishing with lots of action. We have several openings this month and next month. Book your trip now to get in on great fishing.
